This term’s topic is ‘Bright Lights, Big City!’ We will be learning about our capital city – London! We will find out about famous landmarks, iconic London transport, The Royals, The Great Fire of London and London Zoo. Your homework this term is all related to our topic and will culminate in ‘The London Expo 2015’ in the final week of term. Your child will benefit greatly from daily support at home with their learning – their homework book needs to be handed in each Monday and will be sent home on a Tuesday. We will share home news each week on a Friday afternoon – home news slips will be available for you to complete each morning – please post them in our class post box. We would welcome any offers of help to listen to the children read in the afternoon sessions. Thank you.
