Javier Chaves Bolaños
President
Mr. Chaves holds a Masters Degree of Political Science from Ohio State
University and a MBA Degree with a major in Marketing and Finance from
National University, as well as a Licentiate Degree of Law.
Currently he is the President of Grupo Aldesa. Previously he served as
General Manager of Aldesa Sociedad de Fondos de Inversión and New
Product Development and Marketing Manager for Aldesa Puesto de Bolsa.
In addition, he is a certified stock broker.
Mr. Chaves served as a consultant in connection with the insurance market
reform and has taught graduate economics courses at Universidad de Costa
Rica as well as at the FUNDEPOS Stock Broker Training Course.
Oscar Luis Chaves Bolaños
Director, Investment Banking
Mr. Chaves holds a Licentiate Degree of Business Administration with a
major in Finance and a Masters Degree of Economics from the University of
Florida.
Currently he is a sponsor of Mercado Alternativo para Acciones (MAPA)
organized by the Costa Rican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Nacional de Valores.) He
also teaches at Instituto Centroamericano de Administración Bursátil
(Indecab) and has offered seminars at different Stock Exchanges in Central
America.

Lanzo Luconi Bustamante
Director, Investment Funds
Mr. Luconi holds a Licentiate Degree of Economics and an MBA Degree
with a major in International Business.
Since 1982 he has served in various capacities at Grupo Aldesa,
including Investment Manager, Operations Manager, and Stock Broker.
Mr. Luconi has taught at the Stock Broker Training Course from the
Costa Rican Stock Exchange. Also, he taught the Portfolio Theory
course at National University and has lectured on stock exchange
topics and investment funds in Costa Rica and Central America.
Fernando Rojas García
Director, Finance and Marketing
Mr. Rojas has been with Grupo Aldesa for over 18 years, serving in
various positions including Investment Consultant, Portfolio Manager,
Corporate Business Director, and Sales and Marketing Manager.
He holds a Licentiate Degree of Business Administration and a Masters
Degree of Economics, with a major in Banking and Capital Markets. He
graduated from the Top Management Program of INCAE Business
School and also has training and experience in marketing and
communications.

Jorge Baltodano Parra
Director, Aldesa Puesto de Bolsa
Mr. Baltodano has extensive experience in financial and economic
analysis and investment portfolio management, both locally and
internationally. He is in charge of Aldesa Puesto de Bolsa’s advisory unit.
From that position he leads the team of brokers that advises our clients
on a daily basis.
He is an economist and holds an MBA degree from the University of
Manchester. In addition, he is a Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA),
appointed by the CFA Institute from Charlottesville, Virginia.
Jorge Porras Zamora
Trust Funds Manager
Mr. Porras is in charge of Aldesa Trusts, a unit of Aldesa Sociedad de
Fondos de Inversión. He leads the team that designs and administers
trust plans and businesses tailored to client needs. He has over twenty
years of experience in the trust field and has consulted with various
companies and government agencies.
He holds a Licentiate Degree of Political Science and is author of two
books, “El Fideicomiso en Costa Rica – Nociones y productos básicos”
and “Riesgo y mejores prácticas fiduciarias.”

Armando Maroto Barrios
Real Estate Funds Manager
Armando serves as real estate funds manager at Aldesa Sociedad de
Fondos de Inversión. He leads the coordination of all fund-related
activities, management, and real estate purchase and sale and financial
performance.
Currently, Aldesa’s real estate funds unit manages two instruments, the
Revenue and Surplus Real Estate Fund and the Monte del Barco Real
Estate Development Fund.
Mr. Maroto holds a Degree of Economics and an MBA Degree from
Universidad Católica de Chile.
Pablo González
Financial Funds Manager
Mr. González, who holds a Business Administration Degree from Instituto
Tecnológico de Costa Rica, is responsible for developing and managing
financial investment funds at Aldesa Sociedad de Fondos de Inversión. He
has been with Aldesa for over eight years and knows in depth Aldesa’s
business units and investors profile.

Adriana Rodríguez Avilés
Investment Strategy Manager
Ms. Rodríguez is responsible for Aldesa’s Investment Strategy
Unit, where the steps to be taken to design investment portfolios
for Aldesa Puesto de Bolsa investors are analyzed and outlined.
From her position she supports consultants in developing
recommendations to be made to our investors.
She is a Portfolio Manager with an Economics Degree from
Universidad de Costa Rica.
