Instructor -­ Babysitter's Course This course is 7 hours. Youth ages 12 -­ 17 Class size: 20 (approx.) Our Club creates environments that are safe and inclusive, fun and stimulating, and provide opportunities for learning, development, leadership, and discovery. We are looking for an energetic role model and dynamic leader to teach the Babysitter's Course. It is offered on a Saturday or a School Holiday. It's a one day job. The course is offered at different times throughout the year. Responsibilities: • Deliver the Babysitter's Course in a classroom setting (whole group). • Course materials are provided. • Teaching, marking and admin tasks related to the Babysitter's Course/ • Create a welcoming, caring environment for youth that encourages participation • Demonstrate strong communication skills • Help ensure the safety and security of youth • Maintain professional relationships with peers, volunteers and parents Where is the course held: Boys & Girls Club and other Community Centers.
