It’s easy to find a bottle of wine to drink. The world is full of

real wine from some place… that’s how Squadra was born.
There is no better way to discover the heart and soul of Italy than to pedal your way through the countryside –
experiencing the authenticity of its many regions through crisp breezes, remarkable landscapes and the road shared
with warm-hearted locals. The Squadra, composed of Master Sommelier, Bobby Stuckey, an award-winning Chef,
Lachlan Patterson and an celebrated industry veteran, Tony McClung. They have been crisscrossing the winding
roads of Italy for the past twenty years and, every now and then we getting off their bikes to discover something
magical…
The second stop for the Team Squadra tour makes a turn north to stop in the amazing hills of northern Veneto.
Riding past Venice into the twisting hills of the Valdobbiadene spotting hillside after hillside of vines. They stop
for a healthy bowl of Il risotto aifrutti di mare and a glass of what one needs after this trek: Prosecco.
The enologist the Squadra discovered for Prosecco is Paolo Trevisiol. Paolo has a bit of a history making Prosecco
as his family is the ‘first family’ of Prosecco. This bubbly feels equally at home to welcome your guests or serve
throughout the meal. Vinified in 100% stainless steel. After fermentation and 3 months on the lees, the wine is
bottled using the traditional chairman method and left with just enough residual sugar to make this an effortless
