Ben O’Hara joined the Queensland Trust For Nature in March 2012.
He joined QTFN to advance the Trusts commercial acumen and help deliver a
resilient sustainable business model.
EXPERIENCE
Ben has over 20 years experience in the finance and property industry. Ben
has worked in management, client management and origination roles with
local and international institutions that saw Ben develop skills

Ben has worked throughout Australia on projects of various type and size. All
though were assessed and managed in a rigorous critical manner to ensure
stakeholder priorities were met at all time

protection and enhancement to Queenslands natural environment

Tanya Pritchard
MSc, BAppSc (Env)
PROJECT OFFICER
Tanya Pritchard joined the Queensland Trust For Nature in March 2014.
QTFN recruited Tanya to coordinate their Nature Refuge Certificatio
program and help with assessment and management of land owned by the
Trust.
EXPERIENCE
Tanya has over 25 years’ experience in the conservation and land
management industry. She has worked at the State, regional and local levels
participating in, and managing numerous contemporary and complex project
to deliver conservation outcomes for protected areas, threatened species and
ecosystems. Tanya’s experience working with threatened species, developing
partnerships and leading conservation projects across Queenslan has seen
Tanya develop skills in:
• ecological assessment
• natural resource planning and management
• threatened species and ecosystems
• developing and implementing conservation project
• conservation covenants
• facilitation and negotiat
• conservation advocac
Tanya has worked on projects within State and local government and the
private sector and has engaged with a broad range of community,
government and industry groups. She has led and participated in several state
and regional committees and expert panelsand has negotiated over thirty
nature refuges. She also has experience in conservation advocacy roles and
cross cultural environments.
Tanya has a personal passion for Australia’s wild places and is committed to
protecting the natural and cultural values of Queensland for future
generations to enjoy
