Steps with GVBA—Ukraine Partnership Moves Forward
Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe that was once under the control of the communistic country of U.S.S.R. It has a population of over 45 million people. There
are about 2,800 Baptist Churches in Ukraine with a membership of only 150,000.
Commitment to Support Church Planting Pastor
Gasconade Valley Baptist Association has voted to enter a three year commitment
to financially support a pastor from Ukraine to plant a new church in the country
while he attends the Ukraine Baptist Theological Seminary to further his education.
Funding to Support Church Planting Pastor
Churches and Individuals are giving toward his financial support which will allow
him to attend seminary and share the Gospel in his local community.
Visit to Meet our Church Planting Pastor
Our association is seeking pastors who are interested in taking part in a mission
trip this September 6—14, where they will spend time in a weekend retreat with the
opportunity to meet with our church planter, lead in small group training, and
preach on Sunday in a Ukrainian Baptist Church.

The churches of our association will
join other Southern Baptists in praying
on March 6—13 for our North American
missionaries.
“HERE I AM/SEND ME” is the theme
for 2016 Week of Prayer for North
American Missions and the Annie
Armstrong Easter Offering.
Through gifts to the Annie Armstrong
Easter Offering, missionaries are enabled
to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Because every dollar given to the Annie
Armstrong Easter Offering goes to the
direct support of missionaries, Southern
Baptists can be confident offering gifts are
an investment in eternity.
