THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF NORTH BAY
BY-LAW NO. 2387
A By-law to Authorize an application to
the Ontario Municipal Board for an Order
annexing part of the Township of Widdifield.
WHEREAS by Section 14 (2) of The Municipal Act,

R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 249, it is provided in part that upon the
application of any municipality authorized by by-law of the
Council thereof, The Ontario Municipal Board may be Order, on such
terms as it may deem expedient, annex the whole or any part or
parts of any other municipality or municipalities to the municipality;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the City of
North Bay deems it expedient to apply to The Ontario Municipal
Board for an Order annexing that part of the TOWNSHIP OF WIDDIFIELD
more particularly described in Schedule "A" attached to and forming
part of this by-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
CITY OF NORTH BAY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS

an application by The Corporation of the City of
North Bay to The Ontario Municipal Board for an Order annexing to
The Corporation of the City of North Bay those parts of the
TOWNSHIP OF WIDDIFIELD more particularly described in Schedule "A"
hereto annexed, be and the same is hereby authorized.
(2)
THAT the said SCHEDULE "A" hereto annexed is hereby
declared to be part of this By-law in the same manner as if
written and incorporated herein.

THAT the Mayor and the Clerk be and each of them is
hereby authorized and required to execute the said application
and any other document or documents necessary to implement the
intent of this By-law, and the Clerk is hereby authorized and
required to affix the corporate seal thereto and to deliver the
same.

COMMENCING at a point where the boundary between
the

of Commanda and the Township of Widdifield inter-
sects Lake Nipissing;
THENCE northerly along the said boundary to a
point two hundred feet (200') north of the road allowance
between Concessions I and II in the Township of Widdifield;
THENCE due easterly along a line two hundred
feet (200') north of the said road allowance to the boundary between Lots 1$ and 19;
THENCE southerly along the boundary between
Lots 18 and 19 to the boundary between Concessions I and II;
THENCE easterly along the said boundary and
the northerly limits of the North Bay Airport to a point
two hundred feet (200') distant measured easterly from the
westerly limit of Lot 14;
THENCE southerly parallel to the westerly limit
of Lot 14, twenty-six hundred feet (2600') to a point;
THENCE easterly parallel to the northerly limits
of lots in Concession I to the boundary line between Lots
ll and 12;
THENCE southerly along the said boundary to the
boundary line between Concessions A and B;
THENCE easterly along the concession line to the

THENCE westerly along the said boundary and the

THENCE north and west along the existing boundaries
of the City of North Bay to Lake Nipissing, and
THENCE northwesterly along Lake Nipissing to the
point of commencement;
ALONG WITH that area encilosed by the following
boundaries:
COMMENCING at a point in the west boundary of the
Township of Widdifield where the said boundary intersects the
high water mark of Lake Nipissing,
THENCE continuing south along the southerly production of the said west boundary of the Township to its
intersection with the southwesterly production of the boundary between the Township of West Ferris and the City of
North Bay;
THENCE North 69°

easterly shore of Lake Nipissing;
