player’s name or get a fact wrong… no need to fire off an angry email or Facebook post. We
will try our best to get the facts right. Remember that due to the size of the league, we may
not review/preview every game, every week. We will make sure we get to every team
throughout the season. In the meantime, enjoy the season.
Las Vegas Sun Devils (3-2) VS Del Sol Wolverines (4-1) – 8U Division
Where: Del Sol High School
When: 11:45 AM
The 8U Division Game of the Week will take center stage on Saturday afternoon at Del Sol
High School as the Sun Devils travel to battle the Del Sol Wolverines. The Sun Devils enter
this game looking to push them closer to a playoff spot with yet another victory. The Sun
Devils team strength this season has certainly been their defense. The Sun Devils have
given up just over 12 points a game this season as a team, and will look to put the clamps
on the Wolverines offense in this game. The Sun Devils meanwhile will need to pick things
up on the offensive side of the football behind the leadership of Nylen Johnson and Antonio
Spann. The Del Sol Wolverines meanwhile will be hungry to keep pace with the top of the
8U Division as they try and defend their home field on Saturday. The Wolverines feature a
strong offense that will look to challenge the Sun Devils defense on Saturday. The
Wolverines offense averages over 21 points a game, and they will need that offense to play
up to par if they want to survive and escape with a victory. The Wolverines will look to
Jerome Sequeira and Charles Buckner to help them survive this Game of the Week with a
victory.
Las Vegas Broncos (3-2) VS Las Vegas Longhorns (0-5) – 8U Division
Where: Ed Fountain Park #8
When: 1:30 PM
The Las Vegas Broncos will look to rebound from a loss last weekend as they take on the
Las Vegas Longhorns at Ed Fountain Park. The Broncos already have 3 wins this season,
but a 4th would almost guarantee them a spot in the playoffs. Thanks to the stellar play of
Demichael Burks and Catrell Love, this team has found a way to ramble to big scoring plays
on offense. The Broncos will look to build on the offensive side of the football, as they have
averaged 15 points a game as a team thus far. The Longhorns meanwhile will be looking to
turn their season around here at this point, as they are still in search of their first win of the
season. The Longhorns have struggled on both sides of the football, but have certainly
played hard each and every time out. They will look to Head Coach Ron Cardenas to come
up with a strategy to slow down the Broncos Saturday afternoon, but most likely running
back Derek Burton will be at the center of their team plans.
Henderson Cowboys (4-1) VS 702 49ers (2-3) – 8U Division
Where: Liberty High School
When: 1:30 PM
The Henderson Cowboys and 702 49ers essentially share Liberty High School as a home
field, so both teams will be looking to stake claim this weekend in what should be an
exciting showdown. The Henderson Cowboys earned a huge victory Monday night in a
thriller over the Aces at Ed Fountain Park, and will try and build on that momentum heading
into this weekend. The Cowboys however have no time to take a breath however, how as
the 49ers are a tremendous team to match up with. The Cowboys will need all of their
offense that has averaged over 26 points a game this season. The Cowboys are led by the
likes of Dino Roberts and Jerry Meyer, who will look to steal the 49ers gold this weekend at
Liberty High School. The 702 49ers come into this game below .500, but hungry to get
back to even as they hope to make a push for a spot in the playoffs with a victory on
Saturday. If they hope to defeat the Henderson Cowboys, they will need to improve on the
offensive side of the football, as they average fewer than 15 points a game this season.
The 49ers will need Treyton Savea and Xavier Iocolano to have huge games if they hope to
take down the Cowboys this weekend.
Mojave Green Machine (1-4) VS Desert Oasis Jr. Diamondbacks (1-4) – 10U
Division
Where: Desert Oasis High School
When: 10:00 AM
The Mojave Green Machine and Desert Oasis Jr. Diamondbacks will be each be looking to
make a late season push to make the playoffs, and a victory this weekend is paramount if
either team hopes to sneak into the dance. The Green Machine earned their first win of the
season last weekend over the Southern Highlands Rebels, and hope that win is a
momentum builder. The Green Machine will need to fuel up their offense, as they have
averaged just over 5 points a game. If the Green Machine hopes to survive this road game
with a victory, they will need Joseph Gonzalez and Karina Alfaro to play like the leaders they
can be. The Diamondbacks meanwhile will be attempting to flatten the Green Machine’s
tires this weekend as they too make a push for a playoff spot. The Diamondbacks will also
need to improve on offense, where they have averaged just over 6 points a game this
season. The Diamondbacks will look to rely on Keli’I Meirs and Keith Haddock to lead them
on the ground and in the game Saturday in this exciting matchup.
Del Sol Wolverines Gray (1-4) VS Western Ducks (4-1) – 10U Division
Where: Western High School
When: 10:00 AM
The Del Sol Wolverines Gray squad has the tough task of trying to slow down the Western
Ducks this weekend as they face off at Western High School Saturday morning. The
Wolverines have just one victory on the season, but are hungry to earn that next victory.
The Wolverines will look to Gavin Winterrowd and Dominic Oliver to power them to victory.
The Wolverines will need to improve on offense, where they have averaged just over 5
points a contest as a team. The Ducks meanwhile feature a tremendous defense, one that
has given up just 6 points per game to their opponents, so you know they will try and make
it very difficult for the Wolverines offense. On the offensive side of the football, the Ducks
will look to Dakari Jackson and Dawson Levine to power them to their 5th win of the season.
Arbor View Aggies (3-2) VS Las Vegas Longhorns (3-2) – 10U Division
Where: Ed Fountain Park #8
When: 11:45 AM
The Arbor View Aggies and Las Vegas Longhorns both sit squarely in the middle of a logjam
of teams with 3-2 records. A fourth victory for either team would all but assure them a spot
in the playoffs, while a loss would drop them to .500, and put them in extreme danger of
missing the playoffs. These two teams might also be the most improved teams here this
season, so earning a playoff spot is certainly a huge goal for both teams. What does that
equal, well, that means this matchup will be the 10U Division Game of the Week. The Arbor
View Aggies have gotten to this point behind back to back 35-0 victories the past two
weekends. That hard work will need to continue in this one, as they will try and keep
building on their offense that has averaged 21 points a game this season. The Aggies will
turn to Coda Woolstenhulme, Neo Hernandez, and Jordan Hales to power their offense as
they try and lasso the Longhorns at Ed Fountain Park. The Longhorns meanwhile will try
and break free and run wild as they search for a big win this weekend. The Longhorns will
try and break out of a little losing streak, as they have fallen to the 49ers and Sun Devils in
back to back weekends. If the Longhorns hope to break back to the win column, but will
need to improve on the 15 points per game they have averaged this season. To do so, the
Longhorns will turn to Jaden Peru and Michael Carpenter to help push them back into the
win column. This should be an exciting game Saturday, so stay tuned to see how this 10U
Division Game of the Week turns out.
Las Vegas Sun Devils (2-3) VS Del Sol Wolverines Gold (1-4) – 10U Division
Where: Del Sol High School
When: 1:30 PM
The Las Vegas Sun Devils and Del Sol Wolverines Gold matchup could also be considered for
the Game of the Week, so expect this to be another exciting matchup Saturday afternoon at
Del Sol High School. The Sun Devils and Wolverines Gold team currently sit on the outside
looking in of the 10U Division playoff picture, but certainly still have a chance to get in.
That being said, a win here is paramount if either team hopes to sneak into the playoffs.
The Sun Devils have been led by Ja’Marion Smith and Tysean McCraney, so expect that duo
and the rest of the Sun Devils to try and heat things up this weekend for the Wolverines.
The Sun Devils are in contention for a playoff spot thanks to back to back victories, and an
improved offense is at the heart of that push. On the season the Sun Devils have averaged
just over 16 points a game, but the Sun Devils will need to build that number if they want
to take down the Wolverines Gold team. The Wolverines meanwhile have played a very
tough schedule thus far, and while the win column hasn’t been as kind as they would have
hoped, they certainly are building a ton of experience up. The Wolverines Gold team
features a strong offense that has averaged nearly 25 points a game, despite the tough
competition. The Wolverines will need to look to Michael Ferguson and Messiahra Combs to
lead them this weekend if they hope to climb in to the chase for a playoff spot.
Henderson Cowboys (3-2) VS 702 49ers (3-2) – 12U Division
Where: Liberty High School
When: 10:00 AM
The Henderson Cowboys and 702 49ers will square off at Liberty High School in what should
be a thrilling matchup Saturday morning. These two rivals should be familiar with each
other, as they not only share a practice field, but also recruit kids from the same schools
and area. The Henderson Cowboys enter this game trying to find some solid footing. This
seasons Cowboys squad has seen a bit of roster changeover. That being said, they still
have a ton of talent, headlined by Levi Fulton and Isaiah Hampton who will try and power
the Cowboys to victory on Saturday. The Cowboys and 49ers both average 25 points a
game as a team, so expect an even matchup. The 49ers meanwhile will be looking to
bounce back from a tough loss to the Las Vegas Aces last weekend. They however also
have a strong base of talent, led by Bryan Massengale and Dzjon Hal who will try and lead
the 49ers to a golden win in this matchup.
Shadow Ridge Mustangs (1-4) VS Henderson Bearcats (1-4) – 12U Division
Where: Valley High School
When: 10:45 AM
The Shadow Ridge Mustangs and Henderson Bearcats each earned the first wins of the
season this past Monday night. Both enjoyed the taste of victory so much, they will be
extra focused in this showdown at Valley High School. The Shadow Ridge Mustangs earned
a huge win over the Diamondbacks on Monday night by a score. The Mustangs will try and
race to another win behind the play of Devin Quidachay, Devin Quidachay, and Zane
Hernandez. The Bearcats meanwhile will be trying to claw out another win here on
Saturday, as they return back to their home field at Valley High School. On Monday night,
the Bearcats defeated the Aggies in a thriller. The Bearcats will need the leadership of Tyler
Robbins, Caden Hill, and Bryson Tunnell to really shine if they hope to come out with a
victory.
Las Vegas Aces (5-0) VS Las Vegas Sun Devils (2-3) – 12U Division
Where: Basic High School
When: 1:30 PM
The Las Vegas Aces and Las Vegas Sun Devils will face each other at Basic High School in
what should be an exciting and important matchup for both teams. The Aces come in a
prefect 5-0, and looking to maintain a perfect record. There will only be one other
undefeated team in the 12U Division after this weekend, thanks to the Game of the Week
between the Gators and Seahawks. Because of that, this matchup is paramount for the
Aces, as they will try and fold the Sun Devils in this game. The Aces have been led by the
likes of Jacarlos Rodgers and Jeramiah Nichols who will try and power an offense that
averages over 25 points a game to victory. The Sun Devils meanwhile will be trying to heat
up the Aces and a playoff push here at Basic High School in this matchup. The Sun Devils
will try and improve on an offense that has averaged just fewer than 15 points a contest. If
they hope to do so, they will rely on Quinten Larry and Marell Finks to power the Sun Devils
ground game vs. the Aces.
Bishop Gorman Gators (4-0) VS Las Vegas Seahawks (4-0) – 12U Division
Where: Western High School
When: 1:30 PM
If you weren’t sure what game in the 12U Division would be the Game of the Week, then
you haven’t really been paying attention. The Bishop Gorman Gators and Las Vegas
Seahawks both enter this game a perfect 4-0 and hungry to not only remain undefeated,
but in the running for the top seed heading into the playoffs. The Bishop Gorman Gators
come in chomping along with a very impressive resume. Not only did they hold that perfect
record, they have done so thanks to big wins over a number of divisional contenders. The
Gators have an impressive roster, but the likes of Masiah Pagota and Jaden Turner have
been nothing short of thrilling this season, but the addition of CamRon Barfield to their
roster a few weeks back makes this Gators squad even more dangerous. The Gators
offense has averaged over 33 points a game this season, so expect them to try and get on
the march early and often in this showdown. The Las Vegas Seahawks meanwhile are
looking to make a huge statement with a victory this weekend as well. The Seahawks also
feature a powerhouse offense, one that also averages over 33 points a game, and for good
measure has 1 more point on the season than the Gators. The Seahawks have been
soaring along, thanks to the stellar play of Aginea Cunningham, Montrell Smith, and
Demedrius Boykin, who have all been touchdown machines. Will they have enough offense
and speed to get past the Gators sharp teeth? Make sure to check out this game in person
to find out!
Del Sol Wolverines (4-1) VS 702 49ers (0-5) – 12U Weighted Division
Where: Liberty High School
When: 8:15 AM
A day of action at Liberty High School kicks off with a 12U weighted matchup between the
Del Sol Wolverines and the 702 49ers. The Wolverines come into this matchup in a 3 way
tie for first place, and hungry to maintain their spot in the pecking order. The Wolverines
feature an impressive offensive unit, one that has averaged over 22 points a game this
season. The Wolverines have done so thanks to the strong play of Anton Mazzullo, Kobe
Hendricks, and Jared Moon, who will try and power the Wolverines offense again this
weekend. The Wolverines did defeat these 702 49ers in the opening game of the season, so
they will be hungry to repeat that result on Saturday. The 49ers meanwhile have yet to
earn a victory this season, but have shown the fight of a champion week in and week out.
The 49ers will look to Donovan Cotton, Kendall Gallman, and Kristyann Esteron to help
guide them to an upset and their first win of the season.
Bishop Gorman Gators (2-3) VS TMT Red Lions (4-1) – 12U Weighted Division
Where: Valley High School
When: 2:15 PM
The Bishop Gorman Gators and TMT Red Lions will face off in what should be an exciting
matchup at Valley High School to finish out the day at that venue. When these two teams
faced off in the opening weekend of the season, the Gators fell by a score of 34-6, but this
Gators team has certainly gotten better since that opening game. If the Gators want to
reverse that early season result, they will need Jace Baca, Drais Bellamy, and Jaidyn Yarber
to be razor sharp teeth as they attempt to gash the Red Lions defense. The Red Lions
meanwhile are sitting nicely as part of a 3 way tie atop the 12U Weighted Division. With the
playoffs around the corner, a victory here for the Red Lions is paramount as they hope to
keep pace or a step ahead with the rest of the division. The Red Lions feature the division’s
top offense, a unit that has averaged over 25 points a contest. They will look to Amir
Lindsey, Deonne Gill, and Jason Wiley as they attempt to maintain that pace or better in
this showdown with the Gators on Saturday afternoon.
Las Vegas Cowboys (3-2) VS Del Sol Wolverines (3-2) – 14U Division
Where: Del Sol High School

Week this Saturday morning at Del Sol High School. Both of these teams are hungry to
stamp their tickets to the playoffs with a victory as a win would go a long way with playoff
positioning. The Las Vegas Cowboys feature an offense that averages 19 points a contest,
but will be hoping to rope even more points in this matchup. The Cowboys are led on the
field by Aaron Holloway, Evan Olaes, and Donte McJoy who will hope to help the Cowboys
ride past the Wolverines in this showdown. The Del Sol Wolverines meanwhile feature an
offense that puts up similar numbers, averaging 18 points a contest this season. The
Wolverines will be hoping for strong play from the likes of Jimmy Romero, Geromiah
Edquilang, and Adrian Armendariz in this showdown.
Las Vegas Aces (1-4) VS Henderson Raiders (2-3) – 14U Division
Where: Basic High School
When: 11:45 AM
The La Vegas Aces will challenge the Henderson Raiders at Basic High School this weekend
as these two teams face off looking to make a late push for a playoff spot. The Aces only
have one win on the season, but will be looking to find their footing here in the back half of
the season. The Aces will need to improve on offense, a unit that has averaged just 5
points a game this season. The Aces will need Akai O’Keefe and Rylee Howard to help them
climb up the standings with a victory. The Henderson Raiders meanwhile are very hungry
to get to .500 with a victory in this matchup. The Raiders offense has been solid, averaging
19 points a game this season. They will need to be on their game, if they hope to fold the
Aces in this one. They will look to Martin Blake and Erron Amerson to be up to snuff as
leaders as they try and make a playoff push here late in the 14U regular season.
Mojave Green Machine (3-2) VS Desert Oasis Jr. Diamondbacks (2-3) – 14U
Division
Where: Desert Oasis High School
When: 1:30 PM
The Mojave Green Machine travels to Desert Oasis High School in search of a victory as they
take on the Diamondacks in a game with major playoff implications. The Green Machine
and Diamondbacks are both in the hunt for spots in the playoffs, and a win here late in the
season would go a very long way. The Green Machine is powered by the likes of Mason
Walker and Damarre’a Abraham who have been great at churning out yardage for the
machine. The Green Machine offense has been very powerful this season, averaging over
25 points a game this season. The Diamondbacks meanwhile will be trying to snakebite the
Green Machine’s momentum as they push for a playoff spot of their own with a victory. The
Diamondbacks have been led by Gabriel Smith and Alejandro Villanueva this season, and
will certainly need that duo step up if they hope to tackle a victory this weekend. If the
Diamondbacks are to do so, they will need to improve on an offensive unit that averages
just 14 points a contest.
