These are entered by someone other than the constituent. A confirmed gift is a gift for which you as the administrator have received the actual payment. All online gifts/credit card transactions are automatically confirmed. An unconfirmed gift is one where the participant has entered the gift but you have not yet confirmed receipt of the payment. This designation needs to be configured to use. chapter 1: S P H E RE TO L UMINA T E O NL INE Delayed Self-Pledge In Sphere, you can enable Auto-Charge for your Thon event to automatically charge participants' credit cards if they don't meet the required fundraising goal. In Luminate Online, you create a participation type for a TeamRaiser event and associate it with Delayed Self-Pledge. From the Delayed Self-Pledges tab, you can edit remaining balances and process some or all of the outstanding pledges. Review the Delayed Self-Pledge FAQs for more information about how Delayed Self-Pledge works and how to implement it for your event. chapter 1: S P H E RE TO L UMINA T E O NL INE Multiple Registrations Similar to Friends Asking Friends, you can configure your TeamRaiser event in Luminate Online to accept multiple registrations in a single transaction. You can enable Multiple Registrations for your event from the Select Fundraising Options when you edit a TeamRaiser. chapter 1: S P H E RE TO L UMINA T E O NL INE After enabling Multiple Registrations, a participant can register another family member after they've completed their own registration. chapter 1: S P H E RE TO L UMINA T E O NL INE Organization Hierarchy In Sphere, an organization's hierarchical structure (where the highest level is the organization, and beneath it are other levels and sublevels) is called a Company Pyramid. In Luminate Online, the organizational structure is called the Organization Hierarchy, and the hierarchy is made up of Local Companies and Cross-Event Companies. Cross-Event Companies are broken down into Regional Companies and National Companies. National Companies are the highest point of the hierarchy and are associated with all TeamRaisers of a certain event type, and Regional Companies are associated with multiple TeamRaiser events of the same event type. Local Companies can only be associated with a single event, and this company type can also exist solely as a sponsor of an event. You can learn more about the Organization Hierarchy and company association with TeamRaiser events from the Resources below. l Companies and Sponsors l Company and Organization Association As site administrator, click Constituent360 > Organizations from the top menu to view your list of Organizations. chapter 1: S P H E RE TO L UMINA T E O NL INE What's TeamRaiser in Luminate Online? In Luminate Online, the TeamRaiser module creates fundraising events for your mission. When you migrate to Luminate Online, your Friends Asking Friends events move to a TeamRaiser event. Both products are peer-to-peer event fundraising tools that store constituent (supporter) data. l In Sphere's Friends Asking Friends, your event is a Thon. l In Luminate Online's TeamRaiser, your event is a TeamRaiser Event. How does TeamRaiser compare to Friends Asking Friends? Let's take a look. As site administrator, click Fundraising > TeamRaiser from the top menu to access TeamRaiser events. Here, you see your migrated Thon event history. Click Create a TeamRaiser to make a new event, or click Copy to copy a past event and update it for a future event. chapter 1: S P H E RE TO L UMINA T E O NL INE In Friends Asking Friends, templates create common branding for your events.
