COFFEE HOUR INSTRUCTIONS 9:00 a.m. SERVICE COFFEE HOUR SUPPLIES ARE KEPT IN THE CABINET TO THE LEFT OF THE SINK AND IN THE SPACE BELOW THE COFFEE MAKER BEFORE 9:00 a.m. SERVICE 1. Plug in Bunn-O-Matic Coffee Maker and let stand for 20 minutes, and turn on dishwasher. 2. Set up a long 8 foot table for coffee to the right of the kitchen doors in Fellowship Hall (just to the left of the storage closet), another 8 foot table for tea to the far left of the kitchen doors, and a shorter table in the middle for used cups. 3. Following the instructions on the Coffee Maker, make 2 Airpots of Caffeinated and one Airpot of Decaf Coffee. Use tap water. Coffee and filters are located in drawers below coffee counter. 4. Fill the 3.6L Electric Hot Water Pot with tap water (next to Bunn Coffee Maker), Place on tea table and plug in. 5. Fill the two large CLEAR pitchers (see photo) with milk and put them in the refrigerator on the right. 6. Set Up : Spoons and saucer for used spoons Napkins Tray of Cups Glass bowl filled with sugar Glass bowl with sweeteners Signs for REGULAR, DECAF, MILK and SOY MILK (if available) Sign and bowl for contributions Empty tray and sign for used cups Remove items from tray and place directly on the table OVER Remove items from tray and place directly on the table On TEA TABLE : Electric Hot water Pot Individual teas Spoons and saucer for used spoons Napkins Cups Glass bowl filled with sugar Glass bowl with sweeteners Sign for MILK Sign and bowl for contributions During Coffee Hour 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Head back to Fellowship Hall at last hymn Check to make sure water in electric hot water pot is hot Put milk pitchers on tables Keep tables tidy and replenish milk and cups as needed. Make more coffee as needed Wash dishes by following the posted instructions above the dishwasher. Be sure to remove any food debris before loading face-down onto the racks. 7. Return clean cups face-down to the trays After 9:00 a.m. Coffee Hour 1. Replenish supplies for next service 2. Put milk pitchers in refrigerator 3. Leave a few dollars in the collection bowls and put the remaining money in a white envelope provided in a large manila envelope in the “Kitchen Instructions” binder. 4. Leave all other items on tables for 11:00 a.m. coffee hour. 5. Make more coffee as needed. Leave at least one pot of regular and one pot of decaf. Thank you for your help! OVER
