In the normal market for young stallions, the stud farm receives cash until the stallion proves successful
or unsuccessful. If the stallion is successful, the stud farm reaps the benefits but the breeders who helped
make the stallion don’t see the same rewards. I have decided to make the playing field more level for our
customers.
We started the Share The Upside Program in 2009 with INTO MISCHIEF, who has emerged as one of
the leading young sires in North America with GOLDENCENTS (G1) and VYJACK (G2) in his first crop. We
could not be happier for our breeders who were the inaugural partners in the Share The Upside Program,
and now have earned a lifetime breeding right to Into Mischief for the remainder of his long and promising
career at stud.

HOW TO EARN YOUR BREEDING RIGHT
To participate in the Spendthrift Share the Upside program the breeder will:
SECURE your spot
n
pay a $100 one-time deposit
SIGN your contracts
lifetime breeding right
n stands and nurses contracts (2014 & 2015)
n
BREED your mare(s) in 2014 & 2015
n
Have live foal each year and pay stud fee of $3,500 each
It’s that simple! Your free breeding right begins in 2016 and continues throughout the
breeding life of the stallion. Once you have earned your Lifetime Breeding Right, there are
no expenses to you at all associated with the care and advertising of the stallion.
