Additional dates may be available
Day 1: fly to honolulu
The moment we step off the plane we’ll
feel the “aloha” spirit that draws so many
travelers to this island paradise. Delight
in a traditional flower lei greeting. Then
check in to the fabulous Hyatt Regency
Waikiki Beach Resort. This deluxe
resort property is located across from
the white sands of Waikiki Beach with
many shops and restaurants close by.
Day 2: Pe a r l H a r bor
After breakfast, we journey to the
most moving site on Oahu, Pearl
Harbor. On December 7, 1941, the
Japanese attacked the Navy’s Pacific
Fleet here, catapulting the U.S. into
World War II. We stop by the visitor’s
center to view the exhibits that recall
that pivotal day. Then, embark on a
Navy launch to the USS Arizona
Memorial, which spans the sunken
battleship. Enjoy an included WCTV
Welcome Lunch at the Aloha Tower
Marketplace, once a beacon for
arriving ships, before continuing
our city tour. We pass Chinatown,
the State Capitol building, and Iolani
Palace, a gem of Hawaiian Renaissance
style and the only palace in the U.S.
once inhabited by a reigning monarch.
Later, we drive through the Punchbowl,
an extinct volcano and home to the
National Memorial Cemetery of the
Pacific. After a rewarding day, enjoy
dinner on your own this evening. B,L
Day 3: Discov er OAHU
You are free today to follow your own

for “without worries” and it even attracted
the likes of Robert Louis Stevenson.
You’ll quickly understand the appeal
of these white sands. Perhaps you’ll
return to see more of Iolani Palace,
visit the Polynesian Cultural Center, or
venture to explore Diamond Head. D
Day 4: WAIMEA CAN YON
Fly this morning to Kauai, known as the
“Garden Isle” for its lush and tropical
landscapes. We enjoy lunch at Kilohana
Plantation, a historic landmark built by
a sugar baron in 1935 and a remarkable
example of plantation-era architecture.
This afternoon, we witness the “Grand
Canyon of the Pacific,” Waimea Canyon.
This vast gorge is a striking palette of
red rock and emerald green vegetation
formed millions of years ago from a
collapsed volcano. Later, we arrive at

WAIKIKI BEACH
World Famous White Sand Retreat
The Waikiki area was once a haven of Hawaiian royalty and
has been welcoming tourists since the turn of the twentieth
century. “The father of modern surfing,” Duke Kahanamoku,
grew up conquering the waves of Waikiki Beach. He later
taught Waikiki visitors to surf, a tradition still carried out today
by the locals. The beach is arguably Hawaii’s most famous.
Its white sand, gentle surf and swaying palms with Diamond
Head looming in the distance are all iconic symbols of the
Hawaiian Islands.
USS ARIZONA MEMORIAL
Remembering Pearl Harbor
The Pearl Harbor Memorial Museum & Visitor Center
features historically comprehensive galleries, open-air
exhibits, a documentary film and other interpretive displays
on the events surrounding December 7, 1941. The facility
appropriately remembers, understands and honors our
“greatest generation” and the events which launched the
United States into World War II.
DRUMS OF THE PACIFIC
Maui’s #1 Polynesian Show
The sound of the conch, the beating of the drums, and
the echoes of the Hawaiian chant signal the start of Maui’s
most exciting luau. We’ll discover the islands of Polynesia
through song and dance, complete with a traditional imu
ceremony and the exotic flavors of native Hawaiian cuisine.
Our luau features authentic dances and music of the old
Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, Tonga, and
Rarotonga while enjoying the breathtaking backdrop of
Ka’anapali Beach.
