Hindi translation: तबाह करना
Meaning: To destroy.

Hindi translation: तत्परता
Meaning: Willingness to do something.
Memory Tip: Alacrity – always ready!
Use in Sentence: She accepted the invitation with an alacrity that surprised me.
Abnegation (noun)
Hindi translation: अस्वीकार
Meaning: The action of renouncing or rejecting something, especially a doctrine.
Memory Tip: Abnegation – Ab + Negation  To negate something.
Use in Sentence: He radically abnegated the Big Bang Theory.
Amok (adjective)
Hindi translation: आपे से बाहर
Meaning: Uncontrollable and disruptive behaviour.
Memory Tip: Am(not)ok  If I am amok, then I am not ok with it.
Use in Sentence: The elephant got amok and so it struck down a tree.
Errant (adjective)
Hindi translation: भटका हुआ
Meaning: 1. Erring or staying away from the accepted course or standards
2. Wandering
Memory Tip: Erred ant → away from the course → wandered here and
there.
Use in Sentence: The errant student was given a warning for not going directly to
the class.
