course-we all had wedding cake-what a beautiful day!
Hello Everyone,
Greetings to all from Sunset Apartments.
Today is June 20, 2016, and the first day of Summer. The folks here at the
apartments have been enjoying the time they can spend outdoors sitting in the
chairs out in front of the building. It’s nice to see them setting there and
socializing with one another. We have already had some really hot weather and
the grass is turning brown in most yards. Maybe Diane needs to schedule a rain
dance as an activity with the residents here at the apartments.
We continue to remodel the kitchenettes as apartments come open. We have
remodel about six more kitchenettes since last year at this time, and if my math
is correct we have almost 40 kitchenettes done at this time.
In January the hallways and stairwells in the apartment complex got an eye
opening improvement. All the hallways and stairwells in the building got new LED
lights installed and boy did it really improve the brightness in these areas.
A new Closed Door Opener was installed on our South Elevator last July. The
system is designed to provide consistent door performance despite weather
changes and provides sufficient time for residents to enter and exit the elevator
by meeting ADA requirements.
One of the up-coming projects to be done at the apartments is the replacement
of the retaining walls in the back parking lot and some landscaping in this area
also. Stop in any time and visit us!
