SUNDRIED & HANDMADE ORGANIC CLAY COSMETICS & MORE Clay and its characteristics have been known to human kind for a long time and the rst records of its use date back to antiquity. The grey clay of Komenda is well known for its absorption and for the process of its extraction, which is of key importance. This clay is sourced from the deep layers of soil through supervised manual labour and by using appropriate tools. After it had been dug up, the clay must be left to dry in the sun for at least two days in order to soak up the energy of the sun and become even more active. Si The entire production process is tied to manual labour. The clay is always dried in the sun, never in industrial kilns, which ensures that it is lled with sun's energy and thus a lot more active. The clay is 100% natural and contains no added articial substances. The grey colour of our clay prooves it s richness with silica and silicates. The quality of clay largely depends on its origin and the production process. Komenda is located in a hill-enclosed valley that contains a lot of groundwater, which makes the soil rich in minerals. The clay is sourced from the deeper soil layers, which makes it full of healthy substances and highly absorbent. fango clay Fango Clay is a mud wrap made of healing grey clay mixed with water and applied to the body. Fango wraps can be used for drainage treatment or for muscle toning. Fango Clay is good for the metabolism, it accelerates perspiration and the elimination of waste substances from the body, which makes it conducive to detoxi cation. It is extremely e ective in dealing with all sorts of skin conditions and cellulite. Fango wraps should not be used in the ank area, where the kidneys are located (lower back). INGREDIENTS: grey clay water clay bath powder Clay baths have been used around the world for centuries, dating back to ancient Egypt. Clay and clay baths are among the most e cient ways to detoxify the body and eliminate harmful metals and other substances from the body, directly through the pores and the lymphatic system. Clay stimulates the immune system, enables the cleansing of your largest organ the skin, and allows for the balance and energy to be restored. There are over 300 acupuncture points in a human body, 60 of which are located on the soles of the feet, which is why it is sensible to perform a clay bath treatment. The soles of the feet are connected to vital organs through 7000 nerve endings and are thus an indicator of irregularities in certain other parts of the body. Our body is most protective of the heart muscle and is thus sending toxins and acidi cation to locations furthest from the heart, to the area of legs and soles. Clay baths can be used preventively or curatively. Clay bath for the feet is extremely recommendable for treating dry skin and hard skin on the soles, nail fungus, and candida. TAKE A CLAY BATH SITTING DOWN: Prepare a warm bath in the bathtub and add a teacup of clay. The bath should take no longer than 12 minutes. Afterwards wash off the clay residue. If a part of clay dries on a particular part of the body, it signals a build-up of toxins in that particular area, which causes the clay to adhere better. You can take the bath multiple times, you can gradually add more clay, and increase bathing time. Sitting down in a clay bath is also benecial in case of vaginal infections. Pregnant women can use the bath as well, although for no more than 5 minutes at a time and for no more than 15 consecutive days. After the bath Fango wraps can be used (see: instructions for Fango wraps), and Clay Ointment Ekoclay or Ekoclay Ointment with Black Cumin can be applied. If you opt for an anti-cellulite treatment, anti-cellulite clay ointment Ekoclay should be applied to the target areas. In case of a medical condition repeat the process for 30 days. When using preventively enjoy a clay bath once a week or as needed. USE BEFORE PEDICURE OR FOR DETOXIFICATION: pour 200 g of clay into 5 l of warm water. Soak your legs in the mixture and relax for up to 12 minutes. If there is a lot of toxins in the body, the water may become darker. In case of a medical condition repeat the process for 30 days. When using preventively repeat for 10 days and after that once a week or as needed. After the treatment wash your feet with water and thoroughly apply clay ointment Ekoclay to the feet, in between the toes, and up to the knees. If you decide to have a pedicure, it is to be done immediately after the bath and before Ekoclay ointment is applied. The container and the spoon should never be made of metal. INGREDIENT: grey clay clay face mask with aloe vera (also for skin brightening) The clay face mask consists of grey clay which lay in the ground for millions of years accumulating minerals and traces of elements such as silicon, calcium, potassium, iron, and magnesium, along with various other microminerals. It is paramount for the clay to be dried in the sun since that method preserves all its positive characteristics and minerals. The frequent use of cosmetics and preparations lled with arti cial dyes, allergy triggers, and other harmful substances can make facial skin dirty, tired, and irritated. The clay facial mask binds to all harmful substances on the skin and thus soothes it, alleviates inammations, and acts in an exceptionally detoxifying manner. The e ectiveness of clay facial mask relies on its absorption e ect and on the numerous minerals and trace elements it contains, which help restore skin balance that is a prerequisite for any subsequent treatment. The clay facial mask is extremely absorbent and during drying it draws out all the toxins and impurities from the skin and removes the dead skin cells from the epidermis. In addition, clay improves blood circulation and lymph circulation, which contributes to more beautiful, healthier, and fresh looking skin. The mask is recommended for treating all skin conditions regardless of the skin type. Before application the skin should be appropriately cleansed and the makeup should be removed. USE FOR DRY AND SENSITIVE SKIN: USE FOR OILY SKIN: The application of the mask is the same as in the case of oily skin, in a 2-3 mm thick layer, but it should not be left to harden and dry completely (10-15 min). During the rst phase of the treatment the skin will absorb the necessary minerals from the clay. The second phase involves the drying of the mask and the resulting contraction of the skin which causes increased blood ow to the capillaries on the face. The clay facial mask can thus improve skin colour. The mask can be washed off with warm water and the face dried with a cotton cloth. After the facial mask treatment use Ekoclay Ointment with Black Cumin or Ekoclay Skin Brightening Cream. The mask should be applied to the face in 2-3mm thick layer. The area around the eyes should be avoided. During the application of the facial mask you should relax and wait for it to dry. After approximately 20 minutes, when the colour of the mask changes or when the mask dries, you gently remove it with a cotton cloth and wash your face with warm water. After the facial mask treatment use Ekoclay Ointment with Black Cumin or Ekoclay Skin Brightening Cream. RECOMMENDATION: grey clay water aloe vera While doing the clay facial mask, you can also prepare a clay wrap for your feet (see: clay wraps). The mask can be used as part of the treatment for skin brightening (see: brightening treatment). INGREDIENTS: DID YOU KNOW? Active ingredients such as co ee, chilli, and lemongrass essential oil stimulate circulation and help burn fat cells. Grey clay binds with the toxins, while jojoba and argan oil moisturize the skin. Before applying the anti-cellulite ointment, we recommend you take a grey clay bath and administer a Fango wrap for 40 minutes. A comprehensive anti-cellulite treatment will leave the skin moisturized and the pores opened thus allowing the ointment to penetrate into the deepest layers of skin more easily. INGREDIENTS: jojoba oil argan oil lemongrass essential oil patchouli essential oil sage essential oil co ee chilli grey clay clay wrap Grey clay wraps have powerful draining, therapeutic, and anti-inammatory e ects, and they help remove toxins from painful areas. It is important that the thickness of the clay layer in clay wraps be at least 1.5 cm in order to absorb as many substances as possible. Due to the activity of minerals in the clay causing chain reactions in the body, the treatment must be repeated without interruption for at least 21 days; this is the only way to achieve the best e ect and noticeable results. Always discard the clay after use. Always use cotton cloths to keep the wrap in place and never resort to plastic or aluminium foil since it overheats the clay. USE FOR DETOXIFYING TREATMENT: WRAPPING SORE PARTS OF BODY: In wellness centres we recommend clay wrap be applied to the lower abdomen where most vital organs are located. By applying the clay wrap to this area the liver, pancreas, spleen, and bladder will be detoxied and suffer less strain. The clay senses where in the body the affected area is located, targets it precisely, and begins the process of detoxication. Using a wooden spoon, apply a 1 cm thick clay wrap to the lower abdomen and let it rest from 30 to 60 minutes. Afterwards, remove the wrap, clean the skin, and apply the Ekoclay clay ointment to it. Use a wooden or ceramic spoon to scoop the clay mixture for the wrap and apply it to fabric made from natural materials. The size of the wrap is determined by the area undergoing treatment. Place the prepared wrap in position and bandage it to ensure it stays in place. Allow it to work for up to 4 hours and relax during the process. In case the wrap dries before that time it must be removed immediately. Remove the wrap immediately if pain occurs in the area to which it is applied. CLAY WRAP FOR THE FEET: Apply the wrap to the entire feet area and allow it to work for 30 minutes. Rinse with water and apply Ekoclay clay ointment. INGREDIENTS: grey clay water DID YOU KNOW?
