Scotland
Thursday 22nd June 2017 – Doubletree by Hilton, Dunblane Hydro,
Dunblane, FK15 0HG
This year the Urban Drainage Group is pleased to be taking its range of annual industry
events to Scotland. With the advent of a summer event, this year in Dunblane, we
continue to bring quality meetings to the forefront of the industry.
Dunblane is well served by two International airports in Glasgow and Edinburgh, both
being some 40 miles away. Locally the train station is a 15 minute walk from the venue,
whilst the venue itself provides in the region of 180 car parking spaces.
In addition to an array of quality industry speakers there will be a forum discussion,
opportunity for networking and a trade exhibition provided by industry specialists in all
aspects of urban drainage and flood risk management.
The conference focuses on the
developing strategies for Flood Risk Management in Scotland, the requirement for and
application of Stormwater Management approaches, and case studies and lessons
learned from the first group of Integrated Catchment Studies undertaken across
Scotland.
A leisurely start to the conference proceedings is in place with a 9.25 start. Early birds
can join us for a bacon butty in a breakfast networking session within the exhibition area
from 8am. Registration will open at 07.45am. The day will close with round table coffee
