Allison Chambers
Local artist Allison Chambers has enjoyed a successful painting career in
Charlotte for twenty years. Married and the mother of six, she finds painting
to be her therapy. The main inspiration for Allison’s work is the low country,
as well as Van Couver, San Francisco and Napa.
“The landscapes I paint are the places that cause me to take a deep breath ...
that take me away... that make me feel happy... Painting is my therapy. When
I’m at my easel all my troubles fade away. Now that I have begun putting oil on
canvas, I do not ever wish to stop.”
