TheWhiteMountainWaldorfSchoolisseekingafulltime,experienced,lovingteachertotaketheleadinananticipated
KindergartenClassforthe2017-2018schoolyear.Theanticipatedpositionisdependentonenrollment.Thecandidate
willbeacollegialmemberoftheWhiteMountainWaldorfSchoolfaculty.
Ourschoolwillcelebrateits32ndyearofoperationwiththe2017–2018schoolyear.Ourschoolhasgrownfromone
Kindergarten to our present size on our 75-acre wooded campus, which serves an average of 85 children with 20
dedicated faculty and staff members. We offer a Parent Child Program, an Early Childhood program for children 2-6
years of age, an Aftercare Program and Elementary Grades 1-8. We have a warm, supportive community of families
fromthesurroundingtownsinNewHampshireandMaine.
OurextendedWaldorfcommunityconsistsofanAnthroposophicalstudygroup,abio-dynamicfarm,aCommunity
SupportedAgriculturegroup,choralandinstrumentalgroups,andmanylocalopportunitiesformeditation,yoga,dance,
paintinganddrawing,dramaandnaturalhealthcare.
Theidealcandidatewillbeenthusiastic,warmandenergetic,eagertocollaboratewithteachersandparents,andwill
have completed Waldorf early childhood training from a WECAN-recognized program and will have Early Childhood
classroom management experience. We welcome experienced teachers or teachers who are interested in WECAN
TeacherTraining.Weareinterestedincandidateswhobringtheskillsofandenthusiasmforworkinginadeveloping
memberschoolofAWSNAandafullmemberofWECAN.
EducationrequirementsareaBachelor’sdegreeandpreferredWECANteachertrainingorintraining.Weoffer
