pattern of the exam as compared to that of the last year. The overall difficulty level of the paper was
moderate. There were 150 questions in total, which had to be attempted in 150 minutes. Each correct
attempt will fetch +4 marks while each incorrect answer will reduce the score by 1 mark.

Logical Reasoning
A few questions in this section were difficult but overall, the section was easy. The 10 questions based on
Series and Coding-Decoding were very difficult. There was one set based on Linear Arrangement. This
comprised 6 questions. Apart from this, there were questions based on Odd One Out, Arithmetic and
Analogy. No questions were based on Syllogisms or Calendar this year. An attempt of 25-28 questions can
be considered as a good attempt here.
Language Comprehension
The level of difficulty of this section was moderate. Like last year, this year too Reading Comprehension
and Vocabulary dominated this section. There were 2 Reading Comprehension passages which had a total
of 10-12 questions. One was based on the description of a park, while the other was about the process of
Music composition. The passages were easy read and the questions following the passages were also very
easy. There were 10-15 questions based on Vocabulary (Synonyms and Antonyms). Apart from these two
topics, there were 6-7 questions on Sentence Jumbles, 3-5 questions on Phrase Replacement and 6-7
questions on Fill in the Blanks. The questions on Fill in the Blanks were grammar based. The paper did not
have any question on Error Spotting this year. An attempt of around 24-28 is a good attempt.
General Awareness
This section was on expected lines and saw a mixed bag of easy and moderate difficulty level questions. All
the questions were static in nature. Almost all the topics in General Awareness like History, Geography,
Business & Economics, Polity, Capital & Currency, Sports, etc. were covered in this section. An attempt of
around 20-25 questions can be considered a good attempt.
Aptitude Relating to Management and Communication Skills
The difficulty level of this section was easy – moderate. This section saw 10-12 questions on
Communication. The questions based on Management Aptitude were designed in order to judge the
personality traits of students. An attempt of 25-30 questions is a good attempt in this section.
A score of 440+ can be considered a safe score in this paper.
