Cub Scouts, friends, and siblings are invited to register for
DurhamScouts Adventure Day Camp!
ALL PACKS:
For every 8 campers registering from a Pack, that pack should
expect to supply 2 adult volunteers for each day of the camp.
Volunteers may be parents, relatives, or friends of the families
within the Pack.
Adult volunteers do not need to be a trained den leader.

What happens at Adventure Camp?
Make your way through the Minotaur’s Maze. Swim in Poseidon’s Sea of
Monsters. Practice your skills with a bow and arrow at the Artemis and Apollo
Archery Range. Learn about first aid and health from the father of medicine,
Hippocrates. Watch Hephaestus blacksmithing. Catch a glimpse of the
centaur, Chiron, mentor of Hercules, while hiking in the woods. Join Jason and
the Argonauts to discover the secrets of mythical beasts. Feast upon
Ambrosia, food of the Greek gods, made by your own hand. See what else
awaits you while you “Find Your Hero” and meet Heroes in Durham!
Camp Program includes completion within the following adventures and
electives: Into the Woods, Tree and Wildlife Identification, First Responder,
First Aid, Fire Safety, Personal Safety, Leave No Trace, Cooking, Iron Chef,
Knots, and Hiking

Camp hours - Monday-Friday: 8:30am-4:00pm
Aftercare is from 4:00pm-5:30pm
Dropoff begins at 8:00am, Pickup begins at 4:00pm
