Triangular Prisms
Paper Sculpture: Folding
1.Cylinder
Make a cylinder.
2.Flatten the First Corner
Lay the cylinder on its side, and
flatten only one side of it.
3. Crease
Use a bone folder, popsicle stick
or tongue depressor to make a
sharp crease.
4. Open
Open the flattened cylinder. It
has a “teardrop” or “water drop”
shape now.

5. Flatten the Second Corner
Flatten a side not too far from
the first corner. Sharpen the
crease with a bone folder,
popsicle stick or tongue
depressor.
6. Open
Open the flattened form. It now
has a “tunnel” or “mailbox shape”.
7. Flatten the Third Corner
Flatten a side in bet ween the
first t wo corners. Sharpen the
crease with a bone folder,
popsicle stick or tongue
depressor.
8. Open
Open the flattened form to show
the triangular prism.
