A cultural kaleidoscope of color and opulent panorama of pageantry kicks
off a star-studded line up as the Shrine Circus rolls into Corpus Christi.
Enchanting elephants, tantalizing tigers, and amazing acrobats prepare to
dazzle and astound. This year’s Shrine Circus has an all new
theme—beautiful new costumes, and thrilling feats, many never attempted
in the US previously. George Carden, the founder of America’s Original
Three Ring Circus, said this about the upcoming shows, “Every year, we
scour the world to find the best performances. We’re bringing a big show,
the biggest we’ve ever put together. The spirit of the circus is to top
anything and everything, each year.” Slated to appear are: Magnificent
Tigers Trained by Michael Ramos. Our dangerous, dynamic beast of
incredible beauty performing in the steel cage as Michael courageously cues
the wild and whiskered warriors to action! They are untamed, untethered
and utterly unpredictable!Amazing Acrobats; all the way from China,
Eight Guys perform fabulously fantastic feats! Guiming Meng. Our
talented guest from China entertains with his unique balancing act!
Motocross Madness; Not for the faint of heart, fast paced, highly
energized, two wheeled sensations! Everyone’s favorite clown and her
surprising side kick Baby Bo. Our Ragtag Rascal rambunctiously ramblin
‘round the rings raising a ruckus! The Human Cannonball; World Record
Holder, David Smith, Jr. is blasted from the booming barrel, soaring
freestyle to his destination! Ticket prices are $18 for general admission
seating. Reserved seats are available at $25. Buy one adult ticket, get one
child ticket (BOGO) coupons are available. Details are available on the
website, www.CorpusChristiCircus.com. Children who have not yet reached
their 3rd birthday are free, but must sit in a parent’s lap. Tickets may be
purchased at the box office or online. Show times for the Shrine Circus at
the American Bank Center are as follows: 3/21 (Friday) 11:00 am and 7:30
pm. 3/22 (Saturday) @ 11:00 am, 3:00 and 7:30 pm. 3/23 (Sunday) @ 2:30
and 6:30 pm. Gates open one hour prior to show times. The Shrine Circus
is the only interactive circus in the world! Our audience is warmly
welcomed into all three rings of the circus floor for our famous Pre-Party
one hour prior to show times to meet our performers, ride the elephants, and
just clown around! This is a perfect photo opportunity to create memories
