In 1658, when Little Isaac
was growing up…
Great Beer
… it took many days to travel across the country and the refrigerated
ox cart had not yet been invented. Food was local, and Isaac learned to
make everything with only fresh ingredients –that's how we do it today.
We're not a giant chain, no trucks loaded with packaged food from far
away roll into our parking lot (there wouldn't be room). Our recipes

Sir Isaac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton was born in England on Jan. 4, 1643. Newton may
be the greatest scientific genius of all time. He made major contributions to nearly every area of science and mathematics.
Newton came from a family of farmers, but he was interested
in books and mathematics. He entered Trinity College in 1661 where
he studied mechanical philosophy, algebra and analytical geometry
and the mechanics and Copernican astronomy of Galileo.
His scientific genius suddenly emerged when Black Plague
closed the University in the summer of 1665. He returned to home to
Lincolnshire where he began revolutionary advances in ­mathematics,
physics and astronomy. He constructed the first reflecting telescope,
the prototype for our largest modern optical telescopes.
Newton's greatest achievement was his work in physics. The story
that he discovered gravity when an apple fell on his head is most
likely a myth, but by 1666, Newton had formulated early versions of
his three Laws of Motion.
He was persuaded to write a full-length treatment of his new physics
and, after 18 months of work he published The Principia, regarded as
the greatest scientific book ever written. He analyzed the motion of
bodies and applied the results to orbiting bodies, projectiles, pendula,
and free-fall near the Earth.
He later became Master of the Royal Mint and managed the
English re-coinage of the 1690's He pursued counterfeiters
with ferocity. Newton was the first scientist to be knighted
in honor of his work .
All of this, of course, is before his exciting new career
in the restaurant business.
Isaac continues to create new food and drink concepts and to
research mixology theory for use in his famous restaurant.
Experiments are continuing in the field of dessert-calorie removal.
The technology is top secret, but results have been very promising.
We now have an improved calorie extraction process we use on all
of our Newtonian Desserts. (We're pretty sure it might work.)
Recently, after many experiments, we have achieved the complete
burgerization of turkey and learned to cakerize crab meat.
Contributions have also been made, using a new Belgian
technique, in Fry engineering.
In order to be fully aware of Isaac's revolutionary food technology
break-throughs, it is vital that you attend our training seminars.
They are held every day in the bar area right here at Newton's
