Trip to Slovakia – reports from Norwegian pupils
I liked the trip to Slovakia, I learned new things and I was happy for the family I lived with.
It was funny to go on the shopping centre with the others. It was a lot of walking in the city. My feet
was hurting. It was a bit boring to play golf. I also liked food they made.
It was fun and I learned a lot of things about Slovak history and culture. It was fun to get to know my
host family and be with them.
I liked the activities and trips we did at the school.
I think this is a nice thing for teenagers to do because you learn and experience a lot. You will meet
new people and make new friends. You get to explore yourself and also it is a good opportunity to
practice your English with other people. It is fun to see how other teenagers on my age live in
another part of the world.
It was really fun here. I have enjoyed the trip and I do not want to go home. Sandra was really nice
and everything was great. I really enjoyed everything and I have nothing to complain about. The golf
was fun. I enjoyed the trip and I really do not want to go home. Thanks for everything.
It´s been a lot of fun. The host family has been nice with me. I felt like home. We got nice food for
breakfast, dinner and lunch. The school had a great program. Thomas had a nice house. I hot a nice
bed. We have hone on nice trips. Tomas was with us all the time. I was never bored.
I am having so much fun! Rebecca is so nice and funny!
I suck at golf, but it is really fun to play. I really love this place, so many beautiful things to see. And
go out to shop in a group is something I haven´t get to do in a wail.
And so does friends I got here made me learn something important about friendships. And I also
learned that to like both girl and boy is nothing to be ashamed of.
I learned many things here and I do not want to go back yet, I to stay longer.
But thank you for everything.
It has been good to be here, it very funny to be learning golf and very funny to be with the Slovak
boys and girls. A whole week in Slovakia have been funny.
I have fun with Romana and my friends. And the school was fun and after school too. And golf is fun.
I love Bratislava! I have had a nice trip. I have had a nice home. Martina is very kind to me. The food
in Slovakia is very good! I do not want to go home! It is snow in Norway… So I want to stay here. I am
going to miss Martina and of course here friends… Andrej, Sophia, Ondrej and Tomas. Me, Ella, Kani
and Martine have found some handsome boys, so I am happy!

I had a great time here in Slovakia. Not as I expected, but still very funny. Even though I got sick, I
wouldn´t have it any other way.
Tomas and his family was really nice to me and cared a lot about us. They made good food and
wanted us to eat much. We spent some days at home, but some with others too. He took us to the
mall, we watched a movie and went to jumping arena and spent some time at home. We also ate a
lot of candy, I probably gained 3kg.
I had a great time!
This trip to Bratislava have been really fun. On Monday I ate some really delicious food with my host
family. On Tuesday I were at one giant shopping mall. On the shopping mall I shopped a lot of ince
clothes. At the shopping mall we also visited the cinema. We then saw a cool movie.
On Wednesday we visited a really nice restaurant and ate some really good Slovakian food.
On Thursday we visited the another mall and we also visited jumping place. That was fun.
It has been very fun to be here. Cold or warm, I did not care. I loved to play golf. My dad wants me to
play golf with him and now I want to start play golf at home too. The family I lived with was so nice,
they gave me good food and my own room and so much chocolate.
I liked the museums, but some of it was boring. I suck in writing English so sorry. Thank you for a
fabulous week.
I had a great time. It was fun to play golf. The family was nice. We got a lot of chicken and potatoes
and a lot of candy.
I stayed with Andy and Isabelle. We were in Bratislava city and we shopped a lot. We did skate and
played football and golf.
We were in the presidential palace.
I really liked the nature in Bratislava. The woods were really green and beautiful. The places we went
like the Red Stone Castle were really beautiful and it was a lot of history behind all of the
monuments. All of the people at the school were really nice. Playing golf was a little hard, but mostly
fun. My host family were really nice and it was fun talking to them. Koliba was really cold, but we still
had a lot of fun. We drank Kofola for the first time. I did not really like it, but a lot of Norwegian
people liked it. The biscuit Horalka was really good and I am going to bring a lot of them to Norway. I
had a really good experience and I would love to come back one day.
I thought this trip was very fun. It has been very enlightening. I have learned much about Slovakian
culture and history. Especially castles and golf. Golf was very fun, but also very hard. I have eaten
much exciting food, that I have never tasted before. I have made many friends, and I have done
much cool stuff. We went to trampoline place, because we do not have anything like that in Norway.
It was very fun, and I enjoyed it a lot. Everyone here is very nice, and the family I stayed with were
fantastic. They really cared about me. We also played football, floorball and we went longboarding. I
have had very much fun also in school. It was cool to see Bratislava hill, it was amazing view.
To sum up, it has been amazing to be in Slovakia and I really want to go back. I hope that I can it one
day and see all the friends I made again.
