THAT by Order-in-Council No. 194
Made pursuant to the provisions of Section 25(4) of the "Government Liquor Act, 1953",
it was ordered that the questions as therein set out be submitted to a vote of the
electors in Licensing Area No. 114, being the Corporation of the District of Summerland
and comprising those portions of the Summerland and West Summerland Polling Divisions
of South Okanagan Electoral District lying within the boundaries of the District of
Summerland;
AND TO RECOMMEND that pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of the
"Liquor-control Plebiscites Act" being Chapter 193 of the Revised Statutes of British
Columbia, 1948, Wednesday, the 8th day of September, 1954, be fixed by Proclamation as
the date for taking of the said vote and that a Writ bearing date of August 24th, 1954,
be issued in the form of the draft WTit attached hereto and be made returnable on or
before the 20th day of September, 1954.
