Minus One Two Bingo (show one or two less) Fact Group or Strategy: Subtracting one or two Materials: Blank bingo grid for each student, 2‐12 number cards, subtraction bingo spinner, counters or beans Description of Activity 1. Students write numbers in each box on their bingo sheet. The numbers must be between 0 and 10. 2. Shuffle and place the 2‐12 number cards face down. 3. Student 1 turns over a card while Student 2 spins the spinner. 4. Use the spinner to determine if he/she should subtract 1 or 2 from the number that was picked. 5. Students discuss the answer and both look for it on their bingo sheet. 6. Cover it with a counter or bean if they have it. If not, wait until the next turn. 7. Continue play until one person covers a column, row, or diagonal and has a bingo. 8. Remove counters, shuffle, and play again.
