3. Take the 6 ½ x 11 piece and fold along all score
lines. Add sticky strip to the inside 1” panel
(this will be attached to the 1” panel on the 6
½ x 10 ¼ piece to form the porfolio base.
4. Take a 6 ½ x ¾ strip of Basic Grey (or any
coordinating cardstock and add to the panel
on the other end to make it ¼” wider (this is
how you can make this without using 12 x 12
cardstock!). You need this panel to measure 4
¾”.
5. Take the 6 ½ x 10 ¼ piece, fold along all score
lines and add sticky strip to the 1 ½” panel.
Fold this over. This is to make the top flap
sturdier for opening and closing the portfolio.
6. Attach the two pieces of the cardstock
together on the 1” panels (the dotted lines
show the overlapped, attached 1” panels).
Step 2: Add inside pockets
1. Take 3 large cello bags and cut to 4 ¾” (each
bag is the same size).
2. Add sticky strip to the top and bottom back of
each bag (do NOT put sticky strip all the way
across or you will have difficulty getting the
cards and envelopes in and out of the bags).
3. Place the bags as shown in the picture with the
open ends where indicated.
4. This shows the envelopes filled with the cards
and envelopes.
