Everything Counts

Arbonne Independent Consultant, Regional Vice President
Profession: Fashion, Design
irmingham, Alabama’s Polly Brothers started her Arbonne business by surprise. She
saw amazing results from the anti-aging skincare line and began receiving compliments and
questions about what she was using. She started sampling before she knew it, and at her
Consultant’s suggestion, took a chance on an opportunity. Through consistent and persistent
activity, Polly made her dream a reality.
When I graduated from college, I never dreamed that one day I would wind up selling skincare for a living! My degree is in business
merchandising and all I wanted to do was decorate. In fact, selling anything was last on my list. I am not a salesperson nor did I even know
how to apply makeup.
My life has taken so many twists and turns. I have waited tables, managed an architectural firm, I even worked on a cruise ship as the fitness
professional. But the one constant in my life has been fitness. Teaching some sort of fitness class for the past 30 years has made me extremely
passionate about helping people change their life through exercise and good nutrition.
Enter Arbonne! Nine years ago my Sponsor, Executive Regional Vice President Andrea Rominger, approached me with the incredible Arbonne
anti-aging line. After three days, I saw a remarkable difference in my skin and wanted the products but didn’t want anything to do with the
business. I was working three part-time flexible jobs so that I could pick up my children after school and not have to send them to after care. I
was way too busy and definitely did not want to sell. But, a funny thing happened. People started asking me what I was using on my skin

because they could see the difference. I kept calling Andrea to get sample after
sample until she finally pointed out to me that I was doing the business, just not
reaping the rewards. It finally hit me, if I just continued to share and sell the
amazing products with people all around me and teach others to do the same, I
could build a successful Arbonne business and have more time to spend with the
people I love. Arbonne allowed me to dream again.
SUCCESS STRATEGY
“Build your belief. Be
coachable. Learn to listen.”
My story isn’t like some of those at the top. I didn’t get here quickly, but I have
worked consistently and persistently. My success strategy is “Everything Counts”
because I truly believe that every convention, every team meeting, every sample,
every presentation, every phone call, every “ask,” every hour spent helping a
client or another team member has produced an end result or has contributed to
making me a better Consultant and a better leader. Sometimes it’s hard to see
the fruits of your labor while you’re laboring, but just wait. The harvest will come.
My advice to anyone starting this business is: Follow the system your team uses;
stay close to your upline; listen to Learn & Burns; read, read, read to build your
belief in this business; show up for everything; and don’t look back!
I have so many people to thank, but I especially want to thank ERVP Andrea
Rominger for being a true friend and leader. What an inspiration you are! I want to
thank all of my incredible upline, even those I don’t know well. NVP Paula Best,

thanks for always being a phone call away! My team, where would I be without
you all? I appreciate each and every one of you and cannot wait to give you all the
keys to your brand new Mercedes-Benzes.
Special thanks to Area Manager Dawn Sparks: You are such a fireball! You are
definitely next and so deserve this! District Managers Gina Gumina, Lisa
Townsend, and Anita Atkinson: You are going to rock Arbonne. Some of the
amazing Consultants in my downline, Anna Thomas, Jennifer Donald, Jami
Patterson, Michelle Robles, Robbie Lewis, Janice Amyson, Audrey Coubert, Jesica
Moore, all the Lindsey’s (Lindsey Bostick, Lindsey Sims, Lyndsay Harper), and, so
many others! I am so proud of every one of you.
Polly's daughter, Emma, doing what she loves!
I have to also thank my family, especially my mom and dad, who have always
supported me through being my most faithful Clients, biggest cheerleaders, and
an unwavering support system. My sister, Jill, sister-in-law, Toni, and, of course,
their significant others for being steadfast Clients and also cheering me on. To my
two amazing children, Robert and Emma: Thank you for putting up with all of the
nights of not-so-great thrown-together dinners because I had a presentation!
And, of course, my husband, Robert! Wow, what can I say? You have stuck this out
with me through thick and thin. I’m so so grateful for your love and support.
Last, but certainly, not least, God! I am incredibly grateful just to have such an
amazing opportunity like this in my life. My dream is to continue to help others
turn their dreams into realities. There’s just no other opportunity out there like
Arbonne. Our products, our culture, our leaders — we are the best. Thank you, Arbonne!
