We respond to crises
24 hours a day, 7 days
a week, 365 days a
year with our hotline
and response to walkin appointments.
Why? Because family
and sexual violence
never sleep.
Last year, we responded to 2,383 requests for
crisis intervention.
Court Advocacy
Every adult and child victim has
an advocate who supports them
when they must face their
abuser in court.
Last year, we advocated in
court for an average of 124
new victims of domestic
violence every month.
YOUR SUPPORT allows Susan B. Anthony Project to continue its critical
mission of promoting safety, healing and growth for all survivors of
domestic and sexual abuse. Last year, YOUR GIFTS helped 2,066 people —
survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
Community Education
In addition to helping victims, Susan B. Anthony Project
presents prevention programs in schools so young people
learn about healthy and unhealthy relationships.
Last year, Susan B. Anthony Project provided
programs for 6,693 children and teens.
Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing
Our safe shelter and transitional housing are available for
women and children so they do not have to return to their
abuser, and may begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
Last year, we provided safe housing for
66 women and 57 children.

Canaan, Colebrook, Cornwall, Goshen, Hartland, Harwinton, Kent, Litchfield,
Morris, New Hartford, Norfolk, North Canaan, Salisbury, Sharon, Thomaston,
Torrington, Warren, Washington and Winsted.
Susan B. Anthony Project promotes safety, healing and growth for all
survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and advocates for the autonomy
of women and the end of interpersonal violence.
