There is a saying: ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’ and so we have great pleasure in sending
you some photos of our Christmas activities, with comments to explain them. We would like to
thank all of you who helped make Christmas special for so many of the poorer people who live in
our area of Romania. May the Lord bless you for your kindness and generosity.
Shoe-boxed gifts for children in 4 schools and
two pre-schools in the Poieni area.
We packed and distributed 150 food parcels in and around Gilău and to other needy people with
whom we keep contact. The bags contained Oil, flour, rice, pasta, sugar, margarine, cheese,
tomato paste, salami, pate, chocolate spread, biscuits, tea and sweets. Each family received a
Gospel calendar for the New Year.
Our 20 Saturday School students listen well to the Nativity story being told by Reuben and then
made an angel for their Christmas tree. Their end of year party was a trip to McDonalds in Cluj!
