Use real pretzels or the ones below to solve this problem. Juan
loved pretzels. Gissel gave him 6 pretzels and Anders gave him 4
pretzels. How many pretzels did Juan’s friends give him?
Patty’s bag of pretzel had an even number of pretzels. Patrick’s
bag of pretzels had 17 less than Patty’s. He had a total of 45
pretzels. How many pretzels were in Patty’s bag?
