opens and oxygen flows
into the mask. The oxygen
flow continues and patient
receives from bag and supply
line ensuring adequate oxygen
is supplied. Mask Flap closes to
restrict Air intake

On exhalation the patients breath
is prevented from entering the bag
by closed one-way valve and exits
mask via open mask flap & side holes
The bag is filled by continuous flow
of oxygen.

High Concentration 50 - 60% High flow

On inhalation by the
patient high flow oxygen
flows into mask and is
inhaled by patient. The
side flap on mask closes
to prevent air intake.

On exhalation the patients
expired breath exits mask
via open flap and holes.
Some expired breath may be
rebreathed depending on the
oxygen flow.
