IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Check if voltage is matched with that indicated on the
bottom plate.
3. Open the reflective mirror before working.
4. Do not touch the mirror surface.
5. Do not block the vent, front and side of projector.
6. Care must be taken as burns can occur from touching
hot parts.
7. Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or if
the appliance has been dropped or damaged, before it
has been examined by a qualified serviceperson.
8. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a suitable
current rating should be used. Cords rated for less
amperage than the appliance may cause overheating.
Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it
will not be tripped over or pulled.
9. Always unplug appliance from electrical outlet when
not in use or during cleaning and maintenance. Never
yank cord to pull plug from outlet. Grasp plug and pull
to disconnect.
10. Let appliance cool down completely before putting
aside, loop cord on cord case when storing.
11. To protect against electrical shock hazards, do not
immerse this appliance in water or other liquids.
12. Do not disassemble this appliance, but take it to a
qualified service person when some service or repair
work is required. Incorrect reassembly can cause
electric shock hazard when the appliance is used
subsequently.
13. The use of accessory attachments not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause a risk of fire, electric
shock or injury to persons.
14. Connect this appliance to a grounded outlet.
15. Packaging material should not be played with by children.
16. Disconnect the appliance from electric outlet before
replacing projection lamp.
17. The appliance is not intended for use by young
children or infirm persons without supervision. Young
children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.

Instructions
HOW TO OPERATE
1. Place the projector on a sturdy and plain surface (Fig. 1.)
2. Put the post in a suitable position. The post will be selflocking by a catch (Fig. 2.).
3. Check that the voltage is matched with that indicated on
the bottom plate, then open the wiring casing and take
out the cord and insert plug into socket (Fig.2.)
4. Open the reflecting mirror to 45° from the horizontal.
Do not touch the mirror surface (Fig. 3.)
5. Activate the lamp switch (Fig. 4.)
6. Place a transparency on the working stage.
7. Focus the image slowly with the focusing knob.
8. Eliminate ghosting or halo appearance on the corners of
the projected image by adjusting the lamp unit.
9. If a high light projected image is not needed, put the light
switch on low for energy conservation or when voltage
is a bit high, using in low grade for projection (Fig. 4.)
10. If the lamp blows, turn the lamp changer to another lamp
for continued operation.
11. Follow Fig. 5. for use of the location pin.

1. Post folding: unique self locking system, post can be folded
to the horizontal position for minimum size.
2. Reflective mirror: aluminium vapour, quartz-protected
surface, reflectivity hyper-94% for vertical projection up
to 360°.
3. High speed lamp changing system: turning lamp changer to
realise two lamps changing freely. Two micro switches to
ensure another lamp will not light during the lamp changing
process.
4. Safety projection: power supply can be shut off when top
cover is opened (double line shut off).
5. Overheat protection: in the case of overheating, the unit
will be shut down by thermal switch, while the fan is still
running for ventilation. Wait for the unit to cool down
and the thermal switch will be reset automatically.
6. Hi-low light switch: the low position can save energy and
extend the lamp life as well as serving as a safeguard if
the voltage is slightly high.
7. Cord casing: provided easy access to the cord and reduces
loss.
8. Colour fringing adjustment: colour fringing knob improves
the clarity of the projected image.
9. Location pin: four piece location pin for transparency
location.
10. Anti glare fresnel lens: protects from damage to user’s
eyesight.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Note: Before undertaking any cleaning and maintenance,
ensure the unit is disconnected from power supply.
1. Replacing halogen lamp Wait until the unit is completely cooled down before
replacing a defective lamp.
A. Open the top cover to the vertical position and open the
condenser lens holder, the defective lamp can be removed
(Fig. 6.).
B. Hold the new lamp with lint free paper, firmly and insert
into the lamp base unit. remove protective paper and
avoid touching lamp surface.
C. Adjust the filament as shown, for uniform illumination. The
filaments should be exactly on top of one another when
viewed from above (Fig. 7.).
D. Close the condenser lens to the exact position and tightly
lock.
2. Replacing fuse Fuse is located in one drawer on the bottom of output
socket. Unit has one extra fuse. Fuse specification: ø5 x 20
mm. Ensure the right fuse is used. (See table for correct
information).
3. Cleaning fresnel lens
A. Open the top cover to the vertical position.
B. Take the fresnel lens from the stage frame by turning
sideways.
C. Clean both sides of the working stage in circular motion
with soft damp cloth and then wipe dry.
D. After cleaning, note that the “UP” indication for
positioning toward positioning stage. Carefully put the lens
back without leaving any fingerprints on it.
4. Brightness of the mirror can be affected by dust. The
reflective mirror surface is quartz-protected and paper or
cloth must not be used. To clean, blow off any dust and
whisk the dust off with absorbent cotton.
5. To clean the condenser lens surface, firstly use absorbent
cotton and, if required, dip cotton into a mixture of water
and alcohol with either (1:4) and clean again.
