Besides web addresses you can type these commands into the address box in Guide’s Web Browser.
NOTE: Guide will automatically perform a web search for words that are neither web addresses or commands.
Address Box Commands
Go back to the web page you were previously looking at
Go forward (after going back, above)
To set the magnification of the web page
Show your list of favourite websites
Add the current web page to your list of favourite websites
Show the list of web pages that have recently been viewed
Show a list of all the links on a web page
Find a word on the web page
Print the current web page
Return to your home page (as set in Options)
Show the Options menu for the web browser
Search the web for a word or phrase
To read the help file for browsing the Internet
Close the Web Browser and return to the Main Menu
Close the current page (if multiple pages are open)
Back
Forward
Zoom + number 1-99

Dolphin’s built-in help provides a comprehensive guide to all the functions in Dolphin Guide. While your software is
running, press F1 or select the "Help" option from the Dolphin Guide menu to open the Help files.
For a full list of ALL Guide hot keys press Ctrl + F1.

Dolphin Guide is very easy to use so you will never need to memorise lots of different keyboard controls. This list
contains the keys that you will use most when operating your Dolphin Guide software.
General shortcuts for Dolphin Guide
The important Keys
Open Guide (if not started automatically with the PC)
Show Help Page for current screen
Move up or down in a list or menu
Select an option or move forward to the next stage
Close current menu or task and go back a stage
Turn Speech On/Off

Highlight a portion of text that can then be amended
Read out text, sentence by sentence, backwards up a document

Temporarily stop Guide talking
Start Guide talking again
Speaks out current date and time

Using the Full Web Browser
The following keys make browsing the web a lot easier with Guide, we also recommend the use of Guide friendly
websites as supplied in the default Favourites list.
Internet Keys
Moves to the next piece of text, link, button, etc.
Moves to the previous piece of text, link, button, etc.
Follow a link on a web page
Go back to the address box
Jump to the top of the page
Jump to the bottom of the page
Read the page from your current position (press Ctrl to stop reading)
Jump to the next link on the page (add Ctrl to jump backwards)
Jump to the next text on the page that is not a link (add Ctrl to jump backwards)
Jump to the next heading on the page (add Ctrl to jump backwards)
Go back to the previous web page you viewed
Go forwards a page
Convert web pages to text (using your Guide colour scheme) press again to revert
Switch between showing/hiding images on the web page
Print the web page (cursor must be on the page itself )
Scroll down by one ‘page’
Scroll up by one ‘page’
