1.
God, be my God — Be my all-satisfying treasure and all. Make me jealous for your exclusive supremacy over all my affections
(Psalm 73:24–25).
1.
You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And
there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
2.
Increase my faith — give me a rock-solid confidence that your incomparable power is only always wielded for my absolute good
in Christ (Romans 8:28–30).
1.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to
his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that
he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he
called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
3.
Intensify my joy — Give me a joy in you that abandons all to the riches of your grace in Jesus and that says firmly, clearly,
gladly: "I'll go anywhere and do anything if you are there" (Exodus 33:14–15).
1.
And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” And he said to him, “If your presence will not
go with me, do not bring us up from here.
4.
Soften my heart — rescue me from cynicism and make me tender to your presence in the most complicated details of life and a
heart for my neighbors and friends who do not know you (Hebrews 1:3).
1.
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word
of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
5.
Make me cherish your church — build relationships into my life that challenge and encourage me to walk in step with the truth
of the gospel, and cause me to love corporate gatherings, the Lord's Table, and the everyday life of the body (Mark 3:35).
1.
6.
For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.”
Give me wisdom — make me see dimensions of reality that I would overlook and accompany that vision with heart for you and
for the things of you (Colossians 1:9-10).
1.
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the
knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the
Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
7.
Multiply my influence — encourage and deepen the impact I have on those around me. Give me glimpses of it. Pour me out in
love for our neighbors and spark creative ways to engage them for Jesus's sake (John 12:24).
1.
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears
much fruit.
8.
Make me hear your voice — Help me read the Bible and accept it as it really is, Your Word... your very word to me where I live,
full of grace and power and everything I need pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
1.
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who
called us to[c] his own glory and excellence,
9.
Overcome me with Jesus — Help me be overcome with the fact that I am united to him, that I am a new creature in him, that I
am adopted in him. . . No longer in Adam and dead to sin; now in Christ and alive to you, forever (Romans 6:11).
1.
10.
So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Give me a passion to see the Great Commission fulfilled through my life – help me to realize God has called me to make
disciples and in spite of my personal fears and weaknesses, grant me courage to speak of you to friends, co-workers, neighbors
and anyone else you place in my path. May I be sensitive to your Spirit’s guiding in this area of my life.
1.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
(Matthew 28:19-20)
11. Give me a desire to know and study Your Word – help me to long for and increase my desire for Your word and when you draw
me to Your Word, give me eyes to see wonderful things

Every problem in the world is a sin problem. If it were not for sin, there would be no problems, so basically,
every problem we face in the world today comes back to being a sin problem. So while it is important for us to
pray for people’s health issues, it is more important for us to be praying for their spiritual well-being and for
them to know God and make Him known.
Pray for 3 things:
1. God to save specific people in my life and to use me to share the Gospel with them
2. God to be with people we know who profess to be saved but who are not living it
3. God to bring about a revival in my heart and use me to bring about revival in the Highlands

2 O Lord, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O Lord, do I fear.
In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known;
in wrath remember mercy.
