EULOGIA OF SPARTA
All food products speak about “Taste”....
What Now ....?
We need to create a.... new word, to describe
the specific “Sense” to these products ....
Pronounced [you-lōh-gee-uh] and directly translated from Greek
meaning “blessing.”
Eulogia began in 2012 under the philosophy that specific geographic regions are “blessed” with natural attributes that allow
them to cultivate superior quality products due to their climate,
terrain, resources and overall natural placement in the world.
Some countries can produce the best coffee beans; others the
best wine. In Greece we are truly blessed to be able to produce
the world’s best quality olive oil and honey.
Experience Immortality
It was raw Greek honey collected near the cave Ideon Andron in Crete that nursed Zeus as an
infant as well as honey and nectar given to Apollo’s own son to help him achieve immortality.
This Greek honey has remained unchanged and is still being produced by bees scattered all over
Greece ranging from remote forests, wild mountainsides and even entire uninhabited islands
in the Aegean. Home to more than 6,000 different plant species with roughly 750 being indigenous, the Greek floral landscape is as dramatic and diverse as its own mythology.
While farm-to-table restaurants may be a relatively new dining concept, bees have been doing
this for millions of years. Venturing out from their hives into the vast Greek floral landscape our
honeybees search everywhere within a three mile radius for the ingredient to craft their unique
honey: Nectar.
Premium
Raw Greek
Honey
Depending on the flower source that the nectar is extracted from ultimately determines its
unique flavor characteristics and subtle nuances that set it apart from other honeys; even those
produced from a neighboring village. A monofloral honey is produced when there is a predominant flower source within the vicinity of the hive and the majority of the nectar collected by the
bees is from the same flower blossoms.
Unlike our winged friends who are limited in their travel distance, we are free to roam all over
Greece in order to source and curate the best and most unique honey. Our honeys are unheated
and raw in order to maintain all of their health benefits and we’re sure to work with sustainable
and ethical beekeepers who treat their bees and the environment with respect.
Limited Edition
Organic Fir Honey
Our award-winning Eulogia Organic Greek Fir honey is
harvested in the Mainalo mountain region of Greece. Unlike
traditional honey which is created when bees collect nectar
from flowers, our fir honey is created from the honeydew
left behind by microorganisms that extract and feed on the
sap of the fir tree. Much care is needed not only to harvest
the honey, but for the bees themselves in order to maintain
a balance within this unique ecosystem found nowhere else.
This rare, raw honey is a product of organic farming and
the only honey from Greece with a Protected Designation
of Origin (PDO) distinction from the European Union for its
authenticity and uniqueness.
Its exclusivity, thick caramel-like
texture and pearlescent luster
make this a world-class honey
bursting with extraordinary flavor
andaroma, unlike any other honey.

OUR HONEY AWARDS
Wild Oak Honey
Our brand new Wild Oak Honey has been awarded 3
stars at the prestigious Great Taste Awards, the highest possible rating. Moreover, it was also selected as
one of the Top 50 products of 2015.
The secret of this Limited Reserve Honey lies in its
production at the virgin mountains of Peloponnese,
Greece. It is collected at an altitude of over 1200 meters, far from any urban areas, in a place unaltered
since the time of ancient Greece. In order to collect
this exquisite honey, our producers must hike for up
to 9 hours into the mountains to reach their beehives.
Because of the demanding production method, this
variety of Wild Oak Honey is extremely rare.
In ancient times, Greeks believed Oak trees to be
blessed with mythical and healing properties. Today,
this Wild Oak Honey is considered among the most
nutritious honey varieties in the world, one very rich
in micronutrients (potassium, magnesium, etc.). This is
just one of the many reasons why the Wild Oak Honey
is the first choice for the most demanding consumers.

Classic Hellenism
To walk through the groves of ancient Sparta is to experience a
heightened sense of awareness and complete immersion within nature
making the senses perk up and come to life like never before. At first one
will see a pristine land untouched by modern man as if time itself has
ceased to exist here, followed by a calming silence that gently amplifies
into the sounds we have selectively removed from our busy day to day
lives.

Olive Oil
As you walk, you somehow feel lighter than before, unsure if it’s the soft,
yet fertile earth that’s pushing back up with each step taken or if you
are somewhat intoxicated by all the wonderful smells of the trees and
wildflowers that you swear you can almost taste.
There’s still something else lingering there; something that is a bit
difficult put in a words other than a ‘sixth sense.’ It’s as if our Greek
history, culture and tradition are right there in those very groves, almost
palpable and amalgamating with our traditional senses.
Come take a walk with us.

Premium Organic Greek Olive Oil
Eulogia is hand-picked from family owned olive groves that are grown
under natural, sustainable production cycles in the mineral rich Spartan
soil. A masterful blend of Koroneiki and Athinolia olives produce a
gorgeous golden green color with a low acidity making it one of the finest
olive oils in the world.
Bursting with a fresh olive taste and equally strong aroma, bold fruity
notes are initially realized. As the flavor arcs, hints of fresh cut grass,
bitter dandelion greens and a slight nutty characteristic are detected with
attributes of medium intensity and a strong yet balanced peppery finish.
