Age group: Tiny Tot - 2-3 yrs.
Tiny Miss - 4-5 yrs.
Little Miss - 6-7 yrs.
Young Miss - 8-9 yrs.
Juior Miss - 10-12 yrs.
Teen Miss - 13-15 yrs.
Miss Division - 16-18 yrs.
Requirements: Beauty wear ,Casual wear, photogenic and Interview for the Miss Division.
Tiny Tot through Teen Miss Beauty wear and photogenic only.
7 Queens will be awarded a beautiful crown and a
monogrammed sash.
We will be giving a $1000 Scholarship to our Miss Division
Beauty Wear
Beauty wear can be a dress that best suits your child. Tiny Tot to Tiny Miss can be a long or short pageant
dress and Young Miss to Miss Division long dresses as long it is a good fit. We ask that for Tiny Tot no
makeup please. For Tiny Miss and Little Miss very little as possible just enough to enhance their beauty.
Young Miss can wear make up to enhance their beauty. Teen to Miss can wear makeup.
Casual Wear
Casual wear is for the Miss Division only. Casual wear can be any outfit that is age appropriate and that
complements you.
Photogenic
Photogenic will be taken at Everlasting Images Studio on Lincoln Ave, Groves Texas. Date and times will
be announced on our Miss Mardi Gras Facebook Page as soon as we get a date. This photo will be a
head shot that will be placed in the program book for all the guest to view as well as the judges! The
photos will also be used for photogenic award in each age group. We ask that each contestant wear a
solid color shirt for the pictures they will be in black and white.
Interview
Individual interview for the Miss Division only will be day of Pageant February 11,2017 at the Holiday Inn
and Suites Beaumont Texas. You will be judged on personality, poise and grace and overall impression.
Interview questions will be based off your emcee sheet. Judges may also inquire questions of their own.
Cover girl
Cover girl will be the contestant that is picked by a panel of judges of the headshots that were taken over
all of the contestants. She will receive a crown and monogrammed banner and her picture on the front
cover of the program book.
Ad Sales
We will have a wonderful black/white program book. It is a great keepsake! It contains two key elements:

The Program books will be on sale at the competition.
Ad Page section
By participating in ad page sales you can earn $20 off your entry fee for every $100 ad you sell. We encourage everyone to participate in this event.
We hope every contestant will strive to have one full page of advertisement. The ad pages can be “Good Luck” page or company advertisement.

All ads must be submitted electronically. The file that you send will be what is inserted into the program book (print ready). The electronic file can be
