The financial management of the
Guarantee Fund should be transferred from
the EIB to the Commission, which has an
established practice of managing similar
investments. By taking over the asset
management of the Guarantee Fund, the
Commission should be able to streamline
and consolidate its asset management
activities, building on existing structures
and a good track record.

which all the Member States are
represented, thus ensuring their control of
