THE PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS WIKI ADVENTURE PARK (WAP) 1. All rules and regulations must be read through by every participant before entry. By signing this page the participant confirms he/she has read, agrees with these rules and understands them. These conditions must be read, filled out and explained by a parent or guardian for participants under the age of 18 before he/she enters the WAP. 2. Using the WAP can be dangerous and is at your own risk. Misuse of the safety equipment or technique can lead to injury or death. Furthermore, the participant takes notice that while using the course he/she should count on injuries, such as skin abrasions, bruises etc. Depending on the weather conditions stains can be produced due to resin etc. using the WAP. 3. The management has the right to exclude anyone from climbing who does not follow the WAP rules, to take away the whole equipment from him/her and to forbid to climb any longer. The management also has the right to close, one or several courses or the whole park due to safety reasons (weather, storm, fire, maintenance etc.). Under these circumstances there will be no entrance fee refund. If the participant ends his/her visit earlier than expected for any reason there will be no entrance fee refund. 4. The park is open to visitors with a minimum height of 110cm who are not impaired by any physical or psychological handicap which could be dangerous for themselves or others while climbing. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult! 5. Entry into the WAP will be denied to people under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Pregnant women must not climb. Things that can be dangerous for you or other people must be left on the ground and they can be left in a locker (backpacks, jewellery, mobile telephones, cameras, etc.). Long hair must be tied up. 6. Maximum body weight for our participants: 120 kg. 7. Every participant must take part in the theoretical and practical safety demonstrations and complete the ground introduction course. All instructions and decisions of the WAP guides are binding and must be carried out. If instructions are not followed the participant(s) will be ejected from the WAP. In case this/these participant(s) causes any damages, this will be the responsibility of him/her/them and not of the WAP. 8. The red-marked safety snap hooks must always be hung onto the red-marked safety cable in opposite directions. When switching cables always release and reattach one snap hook after another. Do never release both at the same time! This is the only way to make sure that one snap hook is always hung in. The cable rollers must be hung on the green marked cable (Flying Fox, zip line). Before starting on the Flying Fox zip line always make sure the landing area and cable are clear! With every fall into our fall protection systems the WAP personnel must be immediately informed! Before using the fall protection system its function must be tested as demonstrated in the introduction course! 9. Maximum one person may climb through the stations at one time! Maximum three people on the platforms at one time! 10. The borrowed equipment (helmet, belt, security rope with snap hooks, cable roller etc.) must be used exactly as explained by the trainer in the introductory course. Equipment is not transferable to another person and is required to be left on at all times. It is not allowed to leave the WAP with the equipment. The WAP equipment must be returned in exactly the same conditions as you received it. 11. The operating company, WIKI KinderbetreuungsgesmbH, WIKI Adventure Park is liable under the personal injury laws of Austria. Property damage or financial losses are only covered in case of deliberate or gross negligence on the part of WIKI KinderbetreuungsgesmbH, WIKI Adventure Park or its employees. Seite 1 von 2 12. The participant agrees that all photos and videos taken by the operating company, WIKI KinderbetreuungsgesmbH, WIKI Adventure Park, where the participant is identifiable, are property of the WAP and may be used for advertising purposes. Signing this agreement the participant will be informed on news via post or email.
