The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze the means of family
policy contributing to better compatibility of work and family, with the focus on families
with small children. The first part of the thesis is descriptive and comparing results
of recent studies, the second part is based on the own research analyzing opinions
of employees and employers on corporate kindergartens. Descriptive and theoretical
part is focused on history, legislation, childcare facilities and forms of working time,
which enable better compatibility of work and family. In the analytical part the
differences in opinions of employees and employers are discussed, eventually, how
homogenous or heterogeneous various groups of respondents are.
