Commonwealth Games 2018
School Camp would like to offer the
opportunity for all students of our

like to attend. Students in Prep/year
2 will require an adult to attend to
supervise your child at night. Older
students will be able to be
supervised by Teaching Staff. We
are only in the beginning stage of
seeking interest from parents and
further information will be provided
as soon as possible.

Student Resource
Scheme 2017
The student resource scheme has
been a fantastic success ensuring that
each student has the appropriate
equipment to complete the
classroom tasks. Yarwun State
School will be offering the scheme
again in 2017 with the particulars to
follow later in the term.
2017
Our classes and teachers will remain
the same until day eight in February
where they will be reviewed
according to student numbers on the
day.
Curriculum
Congratulations to all students as
they have been working extremely
hard to complete their assessment
and I imagine that they are all very
tired when they return home. Some

IT’S CHRISTMAS
Christmas has come; it’s that time of the year.
Christmas has come time for peace and good cheer.
Ho, Ho, Ho! Write that list, it’s Christmas.
Wrap that gift, it’s Christmas.
Mend that rift, it’s Christmas and be happy.
Wear a smile, it’s Christmas.
All the while, it’s Christmas. Peace on earth.
It’s Christmas Day.
Christmas has come there’s a hush in the air.
Christmas has come it’s the spirit we share.
Ho, Ho, Ho! Write that list. It’s Christmas.
Wrap that gift, it’s Christmas.
Mend that rift, it’s Christmas and be happy.
Wear a smile, it’s Christmas.
All the while, it’s Christmas.
Peace on earth, it’s Christmas Day.
Christmas has come and there’s no turning back.
Santa will come, Lots of toys in his sack.
Write that list, it’s Christmas.
Wrap that gift, it’s Christmas.
Ho, Ho, Ho! Mend that rift, it’s Christmas and be
happy. Wear a smile, it’s Christmas.
All the while, it’s Christmas.
Peace on earth. It’s Christmas Day.
O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL
O come all ye faithful Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem.
Come and behold him born the king of angles.
O come let us adore him, O come let us adore him,
O come let us adore him Christ the Lord.
O sing choirs of angels, sing in exultation.
Sing all ye citizens of heavens above.
Glory to God in the highest.
O come let us adore him, O come let us adore him, O
come let us adore him Christ the Lord.
All hail Lord we greet thee, born this happy morning.
Jesus to thee be glory given.
Word of the father, now in flesh appearing.
O come let us adore him, O come let us adore him, O
come let us adore him Christ the Lord.

Letter to Santa
It’s that time of year again. Australia Post is bringing
Christmas to life for another generation of Aussie
kids with Santa Mail.
It’s a great way to get young kids excited about
practicing their writing skills and the best part is they
can look forward to a response from the big man
himself. Just make sure each letter has a return
Australian address (so Santa’s little helpers know
where to send his reply) and a 65c stamp on the
envelope. Santa Claus Address: Santa Claus, North
Pole,9999
For more information or to send a letter online
please visit (auspost.com.au/education/santamail)
Students in year 3 / 4 will write letters in class and
will be sent through the school. Students will still
receive a reply from Santa.
