YUM CHA, literally means ‘DRINK TEA’. It is a restaurant serving traditional Chinese
dishes and Dim Sum with a modern twist. Their food is infused with a hint of
playfulness, while maintaining authentic flavours and the original essence of each dish.
To achieve balance of the design, the Chinese and English logos stand symmetrically
from top to bottom and left to right. The Chinese logo ‘飲茶’, drawing inspiration from
traditional Chinese ‘aesthetic circle’ concept, which often reflects on their traditional
architectures and designs. The customized font for the English logo ‘YUM CHA’
completes the design with a modern and luxurious touch without sense of
disconnection.
