Enterprise can help protect those resources by making document transformation an effortless part of any business workflow. Blazon Enterprise
automates the transformation process to create PDF*, TIFF or IGC’s own Content Sealed Format (CSF) versions of source files in practically any
format. Blazon Enterprise even works with 3D models, publishing them in STL, ISF and IGC’s compressed 3DF.
Easy to install and administer, Blazon Enterprise can quickly be set up to monitor folders for files to process. For more sophisticated
environments, integrate Blazon Enterprise into workflow or business process actions in any enterprise content management (ECM) system
using the robust API. Blazon Enterprise supports control and compliance, streamlines workflows, reduces document transformation costs and
improves content accessibility.

Support control and compliance
Security is more than a password. With Blazon you can define output format; add watermarks, banners or stamps; and set security controls
and other publishing criteria to ensure adherence to regulatory or internal mandates. Stamps, watermarks and banners can include metadata
values from an integrated database, system information like the user’s name or current date, or static text such as CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT.

Convert sensitive documents to secure CSF, an encrypted and secure format, for safe distribution to third parties. CSF offers Visual Rights®
protection that allows you to restrict printing permissions, add password protection and more. It also offers the ability to expire (time
bomb) files. Because CSF is a proprietary IGC format, there are no third-party editors that can modify content or circumvent security and
expiration date settings. CSF files can be viewed in the free Brava Reader.
Streamline workflows
Blazon Enterprise is easy to use, yet powerful and customizable. It can be deployed right out of the box with minimal configuration or be
fully integrated to an ECM system, records management system or other platform.
The simplest way to add Blazon to a workflow is to have it monitor a folder for new documents to process. As a new file is added, Blazon
Enterprise can convert the file and apply predefined publishing criteria, saving both the original and published copies into the appropriate
folders. It can also be set to batch-process files according to predefined criteria. For more sophisticated environments, developers can use
its robust API to configure it for even the most complicated document transformation processes. Blazon can be launched based on an
action in the ECM or other system and it can notify the system when its work is completed.
Blazon Enterprise is highly scalable and can be deployed at any level, from the department to the data center. Its flexible architecture
allows multiple job processors to be used together to handle the largest of loads.

batches of Microsoft Word documents to PDF for distribution, creating TIFFs from CAD drawings, extracting text for use by search indexers

Blazon Enterprise consists of two major
components: the queue server and the job
processor. The queue server holds jobs for
publishing and serves jobs to awaiting job
processors. The job processor does the actual
work of publication and is responsible for
calling a notification URL upon job completion.
The queue server and the job processor should
run on separate machines and both require
Windows 2008 (32 or 64 bit) or Windows R2
2008.
Converting documents to a neutral format such as TIFF or text-searchable PDF makes them easily accessible across and even outside your
organization. Blazon Enterprise creates accurate versions of your documents in universally supported formats to improve collaboration
and overall process efficiency.
When converting scanned documents, Blazon can perform optical character recognition (OCR) to make the resulting PDF text searchable.
Blazon can also extract text from documents and drawings, then pass it to the ECM, records management or other system so that the
entire repository is indexed and available for search.
Blazon automates the process of pulling together content to create final documents for distribution. You can extract pages from files,
combine them and create entirely new documents. Merge multiple documents into a single file and add a table of contents to navigate
the resulting composite document. You can also split files, making it easy to distribute specific pages from large and complex drawings
or documents.
Blazon also allows you to share comments and annotations with outside parties by burning in markups and Changemark® comments
from IGC’s Brava!® during the publishing process. Changemark comments are converted to Adobe Acrobat comments in PDFs.
