Creating A Jumble Script

Creating A Jumble Script
A jumble script is a way of detailing key information required for your
telemarketing calls. It is not a word for word script, but a series of key
facts and information laid out in a visually appealing way.
It is a printed or hand written document usually on A4 or A3 paper.
Step by Step Guide
1) Create a list of the key features of your product/service. A feature is
a fact eg. It has a long-life capacity battery.
2) Create a list of the key benefits each feature gives. A benefit is a
result of a feature eg. It has a long life capacity battery which
means that you will be able to keep in touch for longer without
needing to recharge the battery.
3) Create a list of common objections. An objection is a reason the
prospect gives for not moving forward eg. It is too expensive.
4) Create a list of objection answers. An objection answer is a positive
response to an objection eg. It is too expensive – It may appear
that way, but when you factor in the increased life and reduced
maintenance cost, it represents excellent value for money.
5) Create a list of frequent questions you may be asked about your
product or service eg. Is it available in blue? How much is delivery?
6) Create a list of answers to your frequent questions.
It is ideal to create the above lists on separate sheets of paper and spend
a day or so refining and re-wording them until you are happy. You could
check over your lists with colleagues and gain their input. If you do this,
remember to keep the wording as your own words so you become
confident with it.
Now lay out your lists onto an A4/A3 sheet as follows:

If you keep each section aligned horizontally, each sentence on the left
will match each sentence on the right.
This sheet is your jumble script and will become your key document when
making calls.
