New York City – a popular trade city in New York that grew to be the largest city in America 8. opportunity cost – something that is given up in exchange for something better 9. Philadelphia – a city located in Pennsylvania along the Delaware River that was an economic center for trade 10. slave – a person who was owned by another person and had to work without pay 11.
