Why Coffee?
The caffeine in coffee dehydrates your system. While
that may sound like a bad thing, it’s actually good for
your cellulite battle. That’s because cellulite occurs
when clumps of fat push up against the connective
tissue underneath your skin, and the end result looks
like cottage cheese. Women tend to have thinner
skin, so their fat cells are a lot more noticeable. That’s
why you see so many women complaining about their
cellulite! If you can break down those fat cells, your skin
will look smoother. Luckily, dehydrating the cells will do
just that — at least on a temporary basis.
You don’t drink the coffee to get rid of cellulite, though.
Instead, use a coffee scrub. This special recipe combines
the power of coffee with the power of essential oils.
To Use
Smooth body scrub onto your wet skin, gently massage your problem areas in a circular motion, and rinse off with
cold water. The cold is important, because it will shrink your pores and make your skin look smoother! Do this 3
times a week, and you’ll see your cellulite start to vanish!

If you can’t eat it, why put it on
your skin?
This Cinnamon Vanilla Spice Body Scrub not only
smells delicious, it really is edible! Did you know that
your skin can absorb 70% of all the oils, toxins, and
chemicals you slather on it? The average woman absorbs 5 lbs of toxic chemicals through her skin each
year! Don’t be that woman.
You’ll love everything about this scrub: The ease of
making it, the aroma of warm vanilla in a steamy
shower, and of course the smooth, polished skin! As
a bonus, sugar contains naturally occurring glycolic
acid which dissolves old, dead skin. Enjoy!

To Use
Roll onto soles of feet (optional: down spine) at first sign of illness. Re-apply every few hours. Consider also diffusing Thieves and drinking a Thieves tea in addition to this topical application.
Kickstart Your Immune System
Try this immune boosting foot rub recipe featuring
Thieves and Oregano essential oils. Blending essential oils
in a roll-on bottle is a great way to easily apply multiple oils
and to dilute ‘“hot” oils like Thieves and Oregano.
ADDITIO
Thieves oil is huge proof of the immense power of nature.
The original story goes that in France, during the time
of the Bubonic Plague, there were four thieves who were
all robbing the bodies of the dead while not getting sick
themselves. When put on trial, they were given a lighter
punishment in exchange for their secret to not getting the
disease. The thieves shared that they covered themselves
in aromatic essential oils. The oils were a blend of Clove
Bud Oil, Cinnamon Oil, Lemon Oil, Eucalyptus Oil and
Rosemary Oil.
Oregano oil is an extremely powerful essential oil and is
one of the strongest natural antibiotics known to man.
Together, these 2 oils can help kick many different illness
and get you back on your feet in no time!

Why Epsom Salts?
Epsom salts have been used by many different cultures
for hundreds of years. Epsom salt isn’t salt at all, but
rather magnesiumsulfate. Over 60% of all people
are magnesium deficient, leading to a host of health
problems. Epsom salt baths are a fabulous way to help
combat this deficiency and improve our health.
To Use
Fill bath with hot water and pour your custom bath blend into bathtub while it is filling. Use entire jar for the
ultimate bath, half to get the full benefits of the oils and minerals, or a quarter for a quick and fragrant fix. Account
for the weight of the individual and the size of the bathtub to help determine the amount.

OUR TIPS, FOR YOU
Having now hosted make+take events of our own, and having helped members of our downline do the same, we want
to share some tips that can help make your event a huge success, without the pitfalls. Come, learn from us...
•
Give yourself plenty (repeat, plenty) of time to
setup. If possible, setup the night before. For a
typical party with 5 stations, plan for a 2 hour
setup time.
•
Have a laptop and/or iPad available for people
to enroll and order a kit. Also have some paper
enrollment forms on hand in case your internet
is not cooperating [ download here ].
•
Over-invite! Plan for roughly 30% of your invited
guests to not attend.
•
•
Serve drinks and light appetizers and consider
incorporating oils into your items. Try Lavender
lemonade, hot chocolate with Cinnamon Bark
or Orange, guacamole with Lime or a vegetable
dip with Dill.
Encourage all guests to sign the disclaimer
while at your event (on your iPad/laptop) to
join Hello Essentials. Don’t forget to add them
after the event.
•
Consider using a mobile app like PayPal or
Venmo for your friends to easily and quickly
pay for their items. Have lots of change on
hand for people who prefer to pay with cash.
•
Dont forget some cute “take” bags for your
guests to put their products into. Consider
these glassine bags that you can run through
your printer using the included design [ buy
online ].
•
Don’t forget to followup with all of your guests
the day after your event. Ask if they have any
questions about how to use their products, and
be sure they’ve been added to Hello Essentials.
•
Turn on your diffuser a half hour before the
event so your space smells wonderful as guests
enter. Have a starter kit on display. We love
these racks for just $10 [ buy online ]. Don’t
forget some nice background music.
•
Have an EOPR book on hand for friends to
lookup specific ailments & issues. Also have a
Product Guide on hand for guests to browse.
•
Consider using our “Oil Wishlist” note sheet for
guests to jot notes during the presentation portion of the event [ download online ]
•
Order extra paper & labels for printing. Your
printer will eat or misalign a few sheets.
PARTY TIMELINE
A typical party should last approximately 2 hours. Here is a rough guideline for an event that starts at 6pm:
4:00 - 6:00
6:00 - 6:30
6:30 - 7:00
7:00 - 8:00
18
Setup stations with signage and all containers, ingredients, measuring & mixing utensils, labels, gift
wrappings. Prep and display food and drinks.
Guests arrive & mingle. Offer drinks and light appetizers. Be ready 10 minutes early, someone always
shows up early.
Gather for a brief Essential Oils 101 class. Start by explaining you’re going to discuss the oils that will
be used to make the products after the presentation. Introduce the kit and the price upfront. Share your
personal stories. Go through the Lookbook and have a short Q&A session at the end. Introduce Hello
Essentials and have an iPad/laptop available so people can sign the disclaimer and you can add them
after the event.
Make+Take. If possible, have 1-2 members of your team available to help guests make their products,
collect payment, enroll members, add people to Hello Essentials, etc.
