a chance to win that prize & save your half of ticket.
Enter one drawing or several different drawings. Place all
of your tickets in your favorite container to increase your
odds of winning that prize or spread them out.

ENTERTAINMENT
for our laddies & lassies
Reel Lounge Jazz Ensemble featuring: Dr. Doug Strong
& Mary Jo Damm-Strong, Russell Beaudoin, Harold Smith &
Tom Perkin. They offer Jazz standards with some traditional Irish
music too, in honor of St. Patrick. Reel Lounge is a group of
friends that enjoy their own independent musical pursuits but
have joined forces especially for this evening. Russell Beaudoin
is the music director at both St. Paul and St. Joseph Catholic Churches here in
Owosso. Tom Perkin is a retired college professor, and Harold Smith, a retired
school teacher. Dr. Doug Strong is a family practice physician and his wife,
Mary Jo Damm-Strong, is the office manager at Wolverine Sign Works.

Harold is a self taught musician. He
shared a story about his father who
had dementia. Harold would play his
piano and his father would sing
along. This was the one time his
father was all smiles. Harold said he
was given a gift, and is supposed to
share it.

PURPOSE OF RESPITE VOLUNTEERS OF SHIAWASSEE
Respite Volunteers provide patients, and their family caregivers with a trained
volunteer for regularly scheduled weekly visits; providing one-on-one time
with the patient and, at the same time, giving the family caregivers a welldeserved break. In addition to serving persons and families there are many
volunteer opportunities.

2017 Rock-A-Thon
It’s Fun & Easy!
Just ask your friends, neighbors and relatives to make a
pledge to support Respite Volunteers. Then come and join the
Rock-a-Thon fun. There will be rocking, music, rocking, food,
rocking, ice cream, rocking, laughter and more rocking! This
fun event is open to anyone who would like to help seek
pledges to help Respite Volunteers of Shiawassee continue
with their volunteer services for all of Shiawassee County. We
are planning to offer on-line giving options for this event
again. August date to be announced.
