I hope you have a great summer ahead. Mrs. Reid has
given your students a wonderful reading packet to work
on throughout the summer months to prepare your
students for second grade. Work on that as much as
possible during our months off to avoid regression.
I am looking forward to getting to know you better and,
of course, your students! I have attached a supplies list
for second grade, so you can plan ahead and catch
the good deals! All supplies should be turned in the first
week of school. Bringing in all the supplies on time will be
worth 4 parent hours.​
Please do not write your student’s
name on any of the supplies and please make sure the
materials are plain​
. All materials will be communal and
shared as a class, so it’s important they all look similar.
You do not need to purchase the exact brand shown
but please follow the list as closely as possible.
