This integration module is installed as part of the Jabra PC Suite setup installer. Which version of JPCS has support NEC SP350 integration? Jabra PC Suite version 2.10.0 or later Why can’t I find NEC softphone listed in the Softphone tab? Your Jabra headset firmware does not have the support for the NEC softphone. Once the support is provided on the headset side, the NEC name would appear in the Softphone vendor/name list. I have installed JPCS. I have connected a Jabra headset, but I can’t find the NEC name in the Softphone vendor/name selection list, can I still get the NEC SP350 softphone integration working with this headset? Irrespective of whether it appears in the softphone list or not, the call control will work with NEC SP350 softphone if the NEC SP350 softphone integration module is running. NEC does not appear in the list if the headset does not have the necessary firmware support for NEC SP350 softphone integration. The selection in the JCC is essential for the headset to notify the NEC SP350 softphone when an outgoing call is initiated from the headset. However this can be realized with this work around: a. Select Skype from the Softphone vendor/name selection list under the Softphone settings tab. b. In the Device service window -> Softphones tab. Select NEC SP350 from the Softphone in focus list. I have installed JPCS. I have connected a Jabra headset which does not show any settings in JCC. Can I still get the NEC SP350 softphone call control working with this headset? The call control will work with NEC SP350 softphone if the NEC SP350 softphone integration module is running. However to notify the NEC SP350 softphone with an outgoing call command initiated from the headset, this work around is suggested. a. Log off and exit Microsoft Lync if it is running. b. In the Device service window -> Softphones tab. Select NEC SP350 from the Softphone in focus list. I have installed JPCS. I have connected a Jabra headset, for which I see only 2 selections for the Target softphone; I don’t see a NEC in the list. Can I still get the NEC SP350 softphone integration working with this headset? Irrespective of the selection thee call control will work with NEC SP350 softphone if the NEC SP350 softphone integration module is running. However to notify the NEC SP350 softphone with an outgoing call command initiated from the headset, the user needs to select “Softphones supported by Jabra PC Suite” and select NEC SP350 from the softphone in focus list in device service. I have a call established in my Jabra headset with NEC SP350 softphone, but I cannot hear the audio? Sometimes NEC SP350 softphone would not take the Jabra headset as the default Audio device for routing the call audio. Make sure to set the Audio device from the Jabra Control Centre. View -> Windows Sound Control Panel -> Set the default Audio device as Jabra device I am Muting and unmuting from NEC SP350 softphone, but I cannot see any effect of this on my Jabra headset microphone? This is NEC SP350 softphone limitation. The NEC SP350 softphone does not send any notifications to NEC SP350 softphone integration module for Mute/unmute done on the softphone. If the user starts doing mute/unmute operations from both headset and softphone, this can result in going out of sync. I am Rejecting a call from my Jabra headset and also on the softphone itself, but the ringing call never stops? This is NEC SP350 softphone limitation. The NEC SP350 softphone does not support rejecting the call. I am in an active call in NEC SP 350. I did fast multiple hold/resume from my Jabra Dial 550 headset and my softphone shows hold state. Why I am not able to resume call from my headset? This is NEC SP350 softphone limitation. The NEC SP350 softphone delays hold request response. If user does fast hold/resume from headset at some point of time softphone will be in hold state and does not respond for resume event sent from NEC SP350 integration module. Workaround: Resume call from NEC SP350 softphone interface. So that SP and device will be in sync.
