Teaching and Learning This Week
This week the teaching and learning has
focused on
‘People who help us stay well’.
The children have thought about how
doctors, opticians and dentists help us,
written about what a doctor carries in their
bag and why, made a Tooth Fairy pouch and
written a story featuring a Tooth Fairy. The
children have painted what they imagine the
Tooth Fairy Looks like and have engaged in
role play opportunities.
They have also had the opportunity to
engage within other ‘People who help us stay
well’ themed learning activities.
Ideas for learning at home
* Read and discuss stories that feature
characters going to the doctors, dentists or
opticians.
